Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Center Director to oversee the operations of our tutoring center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in English and Math subjects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the center's goals and objectives in alignment with the company's mission and vision.
  2. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with educators to design and update curriculum materials that align with K-12 English and Math standards.
  3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of tutors and administrative staff, providing ongoing support and feedback to ensure the highest quality of instruction and customer service.
  4. Student Assessment: Oversee the assessment of students' academic needs and develop personalized learning plans to address their individual strengths and areas for improvement.
  5. Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open communication channels with parents/guardians to provide progress updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback on their child's learning experience.
  6. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to monitor the effectiveness of tutoring programs and ensure adherence to educational standards and best practices.
  7. Financial Management: Manage the center's budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring revenue streams, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial sustainability.
  8. Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and promotional materials to attract new students and retain existing ones.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements governing educational institutions.
  10. Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in education technology to continuously improve the center's programs and services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in education management, preferably in a tutoring or learning center environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of K-12 English and Math curriculum standards and instructional methodologies.
  4. Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  5. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational software applications.
  7. Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational settings.
  8. Valid teaching certification and/or educational leadership credentials preferred.
  9. P&L experience is a must
