Reports in a
timely, consistent and organized manner to the Project
Manager.
•Closely monitor and thoroughly scrutinize all aspects
of the construction works, including the efforts of every company with
activities actually on the site and those that will impact the work
taking place at the site.
•Closely reviews and verifies
contractor’s approved method statements for completeness and safety,
and assures contractor’s compliance before authorizing Instruction To
Proceed (ITPs).
•Monitors progress against the approved works
program, and the contractor’s weekly / monthly Forecasts (2-Week &
3-Month Look-Aheads).
•Verifies the contractor’s progress
against daily/ weekly/ monthly reports.
•Verifies the
contractor’s progress payments as a function of checking the
supervision consultant’s payment certifications against the approved
Schedule of Values and documented work in place.
•Reports on
slippage against agreed targets and approved schedule, investigates
root-causes to avert future occurrences, and establishes (with the
Construction Supervision Consultant (Dar) and Midmac all corrective
requirements to restore contract deliverables per the established
schedule.
•Intervenes proactively to prevent delay by
anticipating and clearing logistics logjams, addressing short-term
stalled progress regarding contractor’s Daily Planned Activities, and
meeting with contractor frequently to confirm preparedness for
upcoming planned activities.
•Assists with coordination of
contractor’s works by determining involvement with affected and
involved outside agencies, along with communicating with all affected
parties to facilitate approvals and progress.
•Accurately
records all daily events; progress, delay, safety and quality
incidents, observed non-compliance with contract con
•Must
have a minimum of 15 years’ experience.
•Must have experience
in Hospitals, Healthcare projects.
•Must have a four year
college degree.
•Excellent command of the English
language.
