Full Job Description
Our client, a leading construction consultancy organisation is
currently seeking a Risk Manager for major construction
projects.
Responsibilities will include the implementation and
monitoring of the Project Risk Management Plan (RMP) from the design
phase through to the end of the project whilst using management
strategies to avoid, reduce, and transfer the project related
risks.
Ability to plan and implement the appropriate risk
management control strategy alongside report preparation and
presentation to the Project and Head Office Management whilst working
closely with all Project Departments, Client teams and 3rd Party
organizations.
Such duties will be undertaken utilising Risk
Management software such as @risk/Monte Carlo etc.
The ideal
candidate will have:
-BSc in Engineering, Business, Finance or
a related subject or subsequent experience
-5 years post
graduate experience in managing project risks in keeping with the cost
and schedule
-Experience of large-scale construction and/or
infrastructure projects
-Ability to perform Quantitative
Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) using Primavera Risk Analysis or similar
softwares
-Previous experience in the Middle East is an
advantage
