  • Establish that all identified material and spares are available and in good condition before commencement of maintenance activity. Maintain tools and equipment in optimum condition and ensure the calibration validity of all equipment is retained and is available during any maintenance process, in compliance with all SHE&Q policies, procedures and standards.

Job Purpose

  • Develop Upstream Integrated Gas Volume and Activities plan (UGP/IAP), review gas production, water injection plans and surveillance ensuring uninterrupted feed-gas delivery from wells and reservoirs to LNG trains.   • Support Reservoir Engineers to develop production guidelines to optimize gas and condensate from Qatargas wells and review non-routine or unplanned events requiring the management of special parameters (H2S/Water/Condensate/Casing Pressure).
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen production shortages and downtime and ensure production availability from offshore in advance to satisfy the LNG requirements and mitigate the short falls in short term basis.

  • Ensure consistent PTW system application across all operating assets.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop and review PTW training materials, incorporating lessons learned.

  2. Support PTW trainers to improve training quality and effectiveness.

  3. Organise communication sessions to cascade procedural updates to end users.

  4. Contribute to PTW system improvements and perform tasks assigned by line management.

  5. Ensure ePTW system access is provided to trained and competent personnel.

  6. Provide consultation and support to end users during routine operations and shutdowns.

  7. Organise regular meetings with asset PTW coordinators, training, and competency teams.

  8. Participate in PTW audits and support audit activities.

  9. Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of ePTW and related tools, ensuring system availability for end users.

Person Specification – Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • HND in Engineering

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Operations, Maintenance, or SHE within Oil & Gas, including at least 2 years as a PTW instructor.

  • Expert knowledge of SHE procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis, integrated safety systems, and international PTW standards and best practices.

Technical & Business Skills:

  • Computer literacy, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
