Job Purpose:
- Area Authority for all E&I activities during construction & modification with live operations (Brownfield)
• The witness of the Operational Test Procedure (OTP)
• The execution of the OTP
• The execution of the commissioning (leak test, function test.)
• Assist the C&I supervisor with preparation of the start-up procedures and the operation
Your main duties will be to: -
• Identifies in conjunction with the Supervisor and Operating Authority (OTL) the procedures & precautions to be taken, to provide safe place for the intended start-up activities.
• Assist the Supervisor and Finalize on site start-up procedures sharing them with the Field Operation core crew to make them applicable on site.
• Assist the Operations Supervisor to finalize a detail start-up sequence in close collaboration with the core field operation crew on site.
• Participate in the preparation of the kick off meeting for start-up activities.
• Participate to the preparation of the risk assessment of the activities to be performed during the start-up.
• Prepare as area authority the potential permit to work required for start-up activities associated with Company Only Fluid (COF).
• Liaise with the Project Engineer on the main site to coordinate the progress of the start-up.
• Contributes to updates the Start-up monitoring tools as required with the start-up Supervisor.
• Takes part in every Permit to Work meetings related to start-up and commissioning activities.
• Witness along with Project Electrical Commissioning Supervisor the Operational Test performed by the commissioning and liaise with the field operation team
• Assist the start-up Supervisor in preparing the request and order for required start-up tools. Ensure proper storage and identification of the start-up tools.
• Prepare the operation of first fill with the commissioning team.
• Prepare arrival on site (PTW, KOM, JSA.) of the vendor involve in the start-up of the facility.
• Identify and check the critical valves (especially on brown field) use a battery limit for leak test.
• Check any type B and C punch list and investigate on it if requested by the start-up Supervisor Field Operations lead, the OTL or the OIM.
• Ensure the list of inhibition and isolation with the associated certificates and risk assessment properly signed and validated by the relevant persons.
• Be aware of the potential Downgraded situation on site and update the core crew on any update associated with the start-up activity.
• Participates to HazId, JSA and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews of new facilities.
• Prepare, update and check on site the "Red line mark-up" P&ID, SLD at the end of the construc
Profile
Education and relevant experiences:
• Education: higher national diploma or certificate (equivalent to A-levels + 2 years' study)
• Industry experience: minimum 5 years' experience in O&G production operations.
Technical, personal and / or linguistic competencies:
• Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others.
• Must have a proven sense of operational responsibility, courage to intervene and challenge.
• Previous experience with offshore operation, Production, oil & gas preferably former control room operators.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical design and engineering services on large-scale oil and gas projects. This role will cover the full lifecycle of project delivery, from concept through to commissioning, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical design and engineering services for electrical systems across assigned projects.
- Conduct engineering activities and site surveys from concept phase through to studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant engineering standards, codes, safety, and environmental policies.
- Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines and standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contracted organisations to ensure scope compliance and resolve technical issues.
- Plan and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering services.
- Review, approve, and monitor method statements, schedules, and deliverables from contractors.
- Support bid evaluations, scope reviews, and contract variation assessments.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards, guidelines, and internal procedures.
- Provide mentoring and support to junior engineers, including structured technical training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered or Professional Engineer status preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 6 years in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality across multiple engineering projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong leadership and coordination abilities within multidisciplinary project environments.

Job Purpose
The EFCC Electrical & Instrument Engineer is responsible for analysing electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities within EFCC, providing technical support and leadership to ensure proactive, cost-effective maintenance and engineering services. The role maximises plant availability and reliability, identifies technical improvements, and supports achievement of operational efficiency, quality output, and budgetary control with minimal cost.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Maintenance Activities
- Analyse daily maintenance activities against plans and make adjustments as required to support objectives.
- Review calibration and maintenance results to identify and implement technical improvements or equipment developments.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct technical research and apply new knowledge to improve operations.
- Review engineering designs for new projects and identify variations.
- Prepare tender documents for CAPEX projects, evaluate technical offers, manage project timelines, coordinate execution, and ensure completion within approved schedules.
- Liaise with operations teams to interpret requirements and represent them in the field.
- Carry out and supervise maintenance for critical plant equipment and automation systems to minimise downtime.

- Monitor monthly budget consumption against approved plans.
Supporting Activities
- Support OT cyber security monitoring and control.

- Assist management in achieving corporate objectives such as safety, profitability, and sustainability.
Data Recording & Analysis
- Review inspection results and perform data analysis to predict potential issues.
- Ensure all data records comply with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and other relevant standards.
Reporting

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrical Power/Electronic Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in EF and Material Handling systems
Job-Specific Skills:
- Specialist expertise in electrical and instrumentation engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of steelmaking processes, EF, LF, dust systems, raw material handling, casting machines, water treatment, and medium-voltage switchgear
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, automation networks, and cybersecurity technologies
- Proficiency with AC/DC drives, motors, transformers, electrical protection systems, and field instruments
