Job OverviewAs the HSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations and activities of the company comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. You will work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and implement effective HSE policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and international standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Develop and conduct HSE training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols
- Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Maintain records of all HSE-related incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Liaise with government agencies and other external stakeholders on HSE matters
- Keep up-to-date with new and emerging HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and make recommendations for improvements
- Participate in emergency response drills and provide support during actual emergencies
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee involvement in HSE initiatives
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project plans and activities
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards HSE Officer- Kahrama Approved)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures
- Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Valid HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA)

- Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting.
- Provide coaching/counseling to technicians.
- Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field.
- Addresses end-user/staff requests specific to facilities but not specific to particular engineering discipline

- Troubleshoots and fixes day to day operational problems relating to Electrical systems.
- Provides technical advice to those responsible for the purchase of any equipment which will be both affecting & affected by Electrical system in order to avoid insufficient capacity and inadequate selections.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

**Salary**: QAR10,000.00 - QAR11,000.00 per month
