JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver civil engineering services that meet Company, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget Perform civil engineering services such as:
- Client Coordination and Work to Expectation level of Client/ Company requirement
- Analysis and Design of steel and concrete structures to various International codes and standards (e.g., European, American, British, Process industry practice codes )
- Analysis and Design of structure and equipment foundations for static loading.
- Preparation of Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Material takes offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports,
- Inter discipline design coordination,
- Competent in preparing design calculations for steel and concrete structure, seismic design, and design to extreme wind loads, developing design sketches and pass relevant information to designers as required on assigned projects
- Coordinate with Designers in the preparation of CAD drawings, typically using, Micro station, AutoCAD.
- Bridge with other disciplines to accommodate their requirements and with designers in the preparation of structural and foundation drawings and details in coordination to have clash free design
- Ensure all work to be carried out with a positive attitude toward safety, both in design and in the office environment
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Working knowledge with Qatar with Codes & Standards
- Bachelor/ Master in structural Engineering with structural Engineering background from any reputed University.
- Minimum experience of 15 years in field Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and/or Refineries Industries shall be added advantage
- Experience in FEED or EPC Engineering design in Project Execution shall be added advantage
- Minimum Competent user of MSOffice , ETABS, SAFE, STAAD PRO, Foundation Design

About The Role:
Easy Plant (EP) is an in-house construction tool of Technip Energies, developed to support the management of the construction and to control site activities in order to reach a smooth, documented and structured plant hand-over to the client.

Undertakes daily walk-through observations of operational areas, to check on progress, safety and housekeeping.
Participates in the development of all SIMOPs documents, to ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of diving activities and their impact on adjacent work activities.
Keeps a detailed diary covering Project activities offshore with reference to any specific messages, e-mails or telephone conversations including ‘lessons learned’ upon Project

Responsible for supporting emergency responses, notifications and incident reporting. Participates in Contractor investigations of all incidents and root cause analyses.
Undertake full oversight of Contractor’s marine activities in collaboration with CPY Marine Specialist and ensure all vessels comply with CPY requirements through site verification and validation.

- Ensure interfaces (engineering, other construction / fabrication sites, commissioning/ startup, operations, etc.) are properly managed for Brownfield and tie-in scope
- Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with BF construction execution plans as needed
- Knowledge-expert on operations and marine practices and procedures related to BF construction (e.g., Work Management System (WMS), Permit-to-Work (PTW), SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual, Shutdown Management System (SDMS))
- As needed, may be assigned relief for the Offshore BF Construction Lead

MISSION
- On Behalf of Hook-up Superintendent and when required, organise, coordinate and control the execution of the Hook-up activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring a proper coordination between disciplines supervisors and Hook-up engineering, overseeing the availability of project materials, equipment and tools, verifying that works are carried out in accordance with project documentation, schedule, safety and quality standards and procedures
- Represent Hook-up Superintendent on construction daily meetings with Client
TASKS
- Report to the Hook-up Superintendent• Assist the Hook-up Superintendent with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on green and brown field works li>Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, in order to comply with the quality and safety standard
- Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and manage the SIMOPS with other contractors and/or plant operations
- Ensure that the Hook-up Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status in conjunction with commissioning superintendent, plan and monitor vendors or any specialists activities at site
- Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production
- Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface among the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project
- Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensure that the daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures
- Motivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness• Ensure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner < i>Report incidents and near-miss events• Manage the Crane operations, in close coordination with Hook-up Superintendent (Floatel, Jack up, Work Boat, Platform cranes) < i>Manage project subcontractor work force to ensure timely execution of project schedule (scaffolding, painting/coating, vendors and so on)• Assist marine operations and logistic, if required < i>Provide a construction report at the end of each shift and prepare a clear handover of duties• Assist the Hook-up Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, ensuring proper and time effective stocks of tools, equipment and consumables are arranged in line with project forecast workload < i>Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked
- Knowledge about pressure testing, flange management and commissioning activities, as part of mechanical completion task
