Support the assessment of cost-effective technologies to improve environmental performance in line with sustainability strategies. Conduct technical-economic studies to promote energy efficiency and climate change mitigation in line with sustainability goals. Coordinate with operational and engineering teams to identify carbon credit-generating projects for participation in international carbon markets. Provide technical advice on international climate change laws, regulations, and carbon markets for decision-making. Convert sustainability strategies into implementation plans for facilities. Conduct on-site inspections of emission sources and abatement technologies, evaluate compliance, and provide guidance on industry best practices. Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on climate change, GHG mitigation, energy efficiency, and compliance. In-depth knowledge of climate change agreements, laws, and carbon credit markets. Strong analytical and report-preparation skills. Experience with air quality modeling is desirable. Proficiency in implementing emission reduction plans and internal control processes.
