ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced Facilities Cleaning Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Qatar. This is a full-time, permanent position within the service industry, offering a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of cleaning professionals. - Lead and supervise, train, and evaluate the team of cleaning staff to ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee daily environmental services operations, including waste management, recycling, and sanitation.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve any cleaning-related issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of environmental supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper usage to ensure compliance with KPIs.
- Ensure all environmental services equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Prepare reports for management as required.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports on cleaning activities and team performance to management.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience at least 3 Years' in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and facilities management.
- Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning protocols.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work full-time hours and adapt to changing schedules as needed.

The laundry washer is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial washing machines to clean and sanitize garments and linens. They ensure that laundry items are properly sorted, loaded, and unloaded, and perform routine maintenance on the washing machines. The laundry washer follows established procedures to meet quality and productivity standards while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial washing machines to clean garments and linens, following standard procedures and specific instructions for different fabric types.
- Sort and load laundry items into the washing machines, ensuring proper load capacity and balancing.
- Add appropriate detergent, bleach, or other cleaning agents according to the laundry requirements.
- Set and adjust washing machine settings, such as temperature, cycle duration, and water level, to ensure effective and efficient cleaning.
- Monitor the washing process, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Unload washed laundry items from the machines and transfer them to dryers or designated areas for further processing.
- Inspect items for stains, damages, or other issues and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the washing machines, including cleaning, decalcifying, and replacing parts as necessary.
- Report any malfunctions or equipment breakdowns to the maintenance department for repairs.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards to prevent cross-contamination and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals and waste materials.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Holding a valid RP with transferrable NOC
- Able to join immediately / local applicants are preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating industrial washing machines or related equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of fabric types and proper care techniques.
- Understanding of laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, and drying.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains, damages, or abnormalities.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy laundry items.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and ability to adhere to safety guidelines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
