We are seeking talented individuals to join as Customer Services Agent to join our award winning team in Ground Services Operations.
In this role you will provide 5-star engaging service to all Qatar Airways passengers in Hamad International Airport. You will have natural flair of delivering unforgettable customer service to all passengers travelling with Qatar Airways. You will ensure that the journey of each passenger is memorable throughout the different touch points in the Airport. Areas of service include lobby, check-in counters, aircraft boarding, coach releasing, transfer desks, arrivals, baggage services and transit hotel accommodation desk. You will constantly and consistently meet/surpass the needs of the passengers and maintain Qatar Airways professional image by adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.
You may be assigned to any of the following areas:
Customer Services
You will provide face to face service to Qatar Airways passengers and deals with their different needs. You will answer questions and offer information covering a wide variety of airline and/or airport related topics such as connecting flight information and direction assistance.
Check-in Counters
You will provide proactive service to passengers prior to check-in such as managing queues, removing old baggage tags, handling denied boarding passenger, staff passengers, helping families, identifying those with special needs and code share passengers so that they are directed to the relevant check-in counters and are handled efficiently. You will ensure that passengers' identification are verified and checked such as passport validity and relevant visa depending on destination.
Boarding Gates
You will initiate boarding at the gates, following laid down boarding priorities, announcements, hand baggage removal, flight coupon reconciliation and head count confirmation in order to assist the process for a safe and on time departure of QR flights.
Transfer Desk
You will deliver efficient service at the transfer desks for arriving QR passengers who are connecting to another flights and ensuring that all information such as baggage details are recorded. You will issue boarding cards and meal vouchers where applicable so that the transfer passengers are processed accurately and expeditiously.
Hub Control Centre
You will ensure al pre and post flight activities are completed within the specified time frame. These include editing, monitoring, on loading, upgrade/downgrade of passengers and special load acceptance. You will assist in compiling reports, prepare the allocation for the next shift, action e-mails and prepare accurate hand-over.
Premium Operation and VIP
You will provide assistance and face-to-face customer services in Premium Check-in counters, Premium Transit areas, Premium Boarding gates and VIP Operations.

About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- High School qualification with 1 year of Customer Services experience.
- Relevant experience in Customer facing role in service industry.
- Airport experience is an advantage but not a must.
- Able to work under pressure to manage competing demands from customers and shifting priorities in operations.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Able to communicate to all type of customers from varied background and nationalities.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work on shift including weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long period of time.
- Excellent customer service orientation – diplomatic, helpful, outgoing and a team worker.
- The role requires you to wear uniform while on duty.

Perform a variety of recruitment and nationalization related activities such as candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, conducting studies on nationalization etc. in order to select and recruit high caliber talent to meet business demands while contributing to the achievement of nationalization targets in line with Dolphin Energy's HR objectives.

Develop and maintain professional relations with local, regional, and international recruitment agencies to ensure that right caliber professionals are selected and attracted to Dolphin Energy.
Liaise with the Communication department in order to participate in regular graduate recruiting cycles that will involve events on campus, participating in employment conferences and job fairs in order to effectively represent Dolphin Energy's brand and attract high quality nationals.
Assist the Manager Nationalization, Recruiting & Manpower Planning in the development of an annual recruitment and nationalization plan to outline the most appropriate strategies and approaches for identifying and selecting high caliber national talent into required roles in a timely manner.
Coordinate with HR Business Partners on functional recruitment needs and identifies whether there are suitable internal available resources to fill vacant positions to facilitate a culture of internal transfers/ promotions and support national development.
Implement selection and recruitment strategies, tools, techniques, and methodologies, and provides support to the HR Business Partners and Line Managers in the assessment of potential candidates in order to ensure consistency across the organization.
Screen and identify external and internal applicants for job openings to ensure that the qualifications required for the respective vacancy match with the selected applicant.
Ensure all recruitment related documents such as CVs, offer letters, etc. pre and post recruitment are in order and as per the required standards established for the selection of the right people into the target roles.
Develop, maintain and implement professional, overseas, outsourced recruitment and related processes such as assessment centers and psychometric testing for external candidates, interviews, CVs gathering and screening, etc. in coordination with the concerned division, to ensure uniformity in the quality and selection of candidates.
Act as the liaison between the business and the candidates reviewing offer letters and undertaking negotiations under the guidance of the Manager Nationalization, Recruiting & Manpower Planning in order to facilitate successful recruitment.
Manage the on-boarding process of new hires to ensure the required orientation programs and ID cards are provided in a timely manner under the guidance of the Manager Recruitment and Nationalization.
Conduct studies of nationalization issues, trends, practices and present findings to Manager Nationalization, Recruiting & Manpower Planning for further action.
Manage the various recruitment related processes including the TPP/CONA sponsorship process, summer trainee process, the internship process, the sponsorship process, as well as the employee referral process in an efficient manner.
Conduct all recruitment processes including screening and selecting internal and external applicants, scheduling interviews, monitoring psychometric tests and interpret results based on selection criteria.
Manage the induction, on boarding process ensuring the process is comprehensive and new employees are provided with the required guidance on joining.

You will provide full support to the Lead Engineers/ Management to perform any scheduled or unscheduled tasks, which is required as per the approved maintenance documentation to ensure fulltime aircraft availability and highest standards possible. Working to the highest standards in accordance with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) regulations and Company procedures to ensure the continued safety of flight for these aircraft. Your core responsibility is to ensure timely and quality performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the aircraft assigned to you.
*Specific Responsibilities Of The Role Include: *
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities as required to support the successful operation of Qatar Executive commercial fleet
- Manages, encourages and motivates the team to perform the tasks required. Determines materials, tooling, support required to perform assigned maintenance tasks.
- Manages inspections and defines priorities of defects to be rectified. Identifies skill sets required and coordinate effective use of pool personnel available to you.
- Proactively find solutions to the defects to ensure efficient resolution while adhering to Safety, regulatory and company policies and standards
- Advises of any impending issues or areas of concern that may have an impact on aircraft and in particular cabin system serviceability.
- Responsible for the final release of work while ensuring tasks are performed to meet QE standards and targets such as aircraft availability, system reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.
- Reviews work procedures, equipment and standards to propose improvements to ensure work processes are effective. Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of operations.
- Provides assistance to other QE departments, as required, to define, develop and prepare maintenance work packages
- Provides specialist support, as required, to QE Maintenance, QE CAMO and Engineering.
- Travel to the location of an aircraft at short notice, to perform troubleshooting and defect rectification professionally and with maximum efficiency.
- Provides guidance and/or on the job training for technicians and mechanics.
- Works together with OEM's, vendors and supplier to find solutions to defects and/or problems affecting the operation of the aircraft
- Produce on time, delivery responsibility and required standard of aircraft reliability and appearance.
- Perform additional tasks as required and instructed by Maintenance Manager as required by the company

Qualifications
About you
Successful candidates are required to have the following skills and qualification:
- Degree or Equivalent/ Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/ Trade/ Vocational Aircraft Maintenance qualification
- Holder of minimum 1 full Qatar Executive main fleet, ICAO type II / EASA Part 66 B1 /QCAA license and approvals
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related aircraft certifying experience.
- Hold current Certifying authorization with an EASA or TCCA Part 145 organization
- Worked with recognized corporate jet aircraft type ratings, preferably with one aircraft operated by Qatar Executive included on your type license.
- In depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals appropriate to his area of employment
- Able to make clear, rational decisions under pressure
- Able to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
- Able to understand and implement instruction from technical manuals and documents
- Good communication skills particularly in written and spoken English.
