- Oversee daily road construction activities: earthworks, subgrade preparation, base course, asphalt paving, curbs, sidewalks, road marking, drainage, utilities interfacing, etc.
- Ensure works are executed per approved drawings, design specifications, contract documents, and Ashghal / Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs).
- Perform routine site inspections and quality assurance checks; issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
- Coordinate with design team to address site design issues, discrepancies, or modifications.
- Monitor progress: updated daily reports, track delays or deviations, propose corrective measures.
- Ensure health, safety, environment (HSE) procedures are strictly followed on site.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in traffic management where road diversion or temporary traffic signage is needed.
- Assist in commissioning, handover works, ensuring that as-built drawings, testing, and documentation are completed.
- Maintain proper documentation: daily logs, material records, progress reports, meeting minutes.

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Ideally 10 years (or more depending on level) of experience in road construction projects, preferably with exposure to Ashghal or similar governmental authority contracts.
- Familiarity with QCS, Ashghal standards, local regulations in Qatar.
- UPDA / MMUP registration preferred.
- Strong technical skills: knowledge of pavement design, materials, asphalt, concrete, drainage, utilities coordination.
- Good communication skills (English required; Arabic a plus).
