The Construction Manager (Brownfield) will oversee and manage all brownfield construction activities for the ISSD Sustainability Project, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of modifications, tie-ins, and integration works at the existing facilities. The role requires strong leadership in brownfield construction, risk management, and coordination with offshore teams, subcontractors, and operations personnel to minimize production disruption.
Responsibilities 1. Construction Planning & Execution- Lead brownfield construction activities, including structural modifications, pipeline tie-ins, subsea cable integration, and WHJ installations.
- Develop and review Construction Execution Plans (CEP), Method Statements, and Risk Assessments for brownfield works.
- Ensure compliance with Company HSE standards, PTW (Permit to Work) systems, and SIMOPs (Simultaneous Operations) procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Enforce Process Safety Management (PSM) and HSE policies for all brownfield activities.
- Conduct HSE audits, Toolbox Talks, and Safety Stand-Downs to ensure a zero-incident environment.
- Manage hazard identification (HAZID / HAZOP) and mitigation measures for high-risk activities.
- Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Integrity teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe integration.
- Coordinate with marine spread contractors, diving teams, and ROV support for offshore construction.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure all construction works comply with Company Specifications, API / ISO Standards, and Regulatory Requirements.
- Oversee welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and coating inspections.
- Review As-Built documentation and ensure proper handover to commissioning teams.
- Monitor daily progress, KPI tracking, and report deviations to the Project Manager.
- Lead construction progress meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure Lessons Learned are captured and implemented.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Offshore, or related field).
- Minimum 15+ years in offshore brownfield construction, preferably in oil & gas platforms, pipelines, and subsea installations.
- Certifications:

- NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification.
- BOSIET / OPITO for offshore work (if required).
- PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of :

- Brownfield modifications, structural upgrades and live plant tie-ins.
- SAP, Primavera P6, and construction management software.
- Leadership in high-risk brownfield environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
