Operational Accountabilities;
- To work on a continuous shift basis to provide support and instruction for both line activity and all layover maintenance requirements.
- Monitoring/analyzing repetitive/recurrent defect across the fleet and investigate and issue troubleshooting recommendations.
- Monitoring of aircraft defects via Airman/AHM and providing indication of recurrent defects that require preventative maintenance.
- To provide all troubleshooting assistance to line stations during significant AOG or out of Service events within the ambit of maintenance data.
- Review TRAX recurrent alerts definition and ensure correct ATA coding is administered for accurate automated generation of recurrent alerts by the system.
- To provide data to QR Engineering, manufacturers when all trouble shooting guidelines supplied to the network have been exhausted.
- Structured approach to the resolution of technical issues identified by MOCC or the Qatar Airways Operational Management. This may include complex defects, and/or customer requests.
- To ensure that all appropriate legislative and Company Procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that the Company remains compliant and airworthy.
- To endeavor, as far as practical, to ensure that aircraft targets are achieved in terms of deferred defects and Technical Dispatch Reliability.
- Monitor closely all Deferred Defects across the entire Fleet, analyzing and suggesting remedial / corrective actions which will enable Base/Line Maintenance to effectively utilize available Ground Time in clearing such Defects, thereby ensuring a high standard of Maintenance via optimal utilization of Aircraft. Perform other duties as directed by the Duty Manager MOCC.

Qualifications
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
- Holds minimum 1 full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals.
- Previous Experience : Minimum of 5 years of job related aircraft certifying / engineering experience.

This role is responsible for the development of Self-service capabilities across the airline's digital channels to ensure the website continues to drive key digital KPIs. - Experience in handling transactional services on Amadeus and E-commerce manage my booking engine is desirable.

- Diploma in Education (e.g. Post-secondary Education, Adult Education or Vocational Education) is preferred.
- 10+ years of employment experience as a practitioner/professional within the relevant discipline.
- Teaching experience in post-secondary, adult training, or industry training environment.
- Experience in leadership and innovation in technology-based projects.
Other Required Skills:
- Commitment to applied and experiential learning as a pedagogy.
- Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments. These should incorporate contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context, and to develop the knowledge, skills, competences and attitudes identified in program outcomes.
- Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in technology systems, and an ability to model and facilitate use of current and emerging digital tools to support research and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable students to be active participants in their own learning.
- Commitment to the effectiveness, vitality, and self-renewal of the teaching profession through self-driven continuous professional development and life-long learning.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Collaborative and collegial spirit and a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with learners, colleagues, sponsor-employers, and members of the community.
- Ability to initiate applied research projects.
