The F-15 Qatari Advanced (F-15QA) Maintenance Technician will perform Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance on the F-15QA in support of the Primary Contractor and the Host Nation Air Force at Al-Udeid AB, Qatar. The Maintenance Technician will operate and maintain the F-15QA aircraft systems, subsystems, support equipment and/or provide logistics support and expertise.
Job Description Qualifications:
DRG is searching for F-15QA Maintenance Technicians with a Crew Chief or Avionics background who have skills equivalent to USAF trained Technicians.
Position Responsibilities:
- A working knowledge of aircraft systems relevant to the assigned job field is required.
- Ability to interpret and apply information on schematic diagrams, drawings and charts.
- Fault isolation and repair of assigned systems and system subassemblies is required.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in the repair of systems relevant to the assigned job field is required. Experience will include troubleshooting systems to component level and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, powerplant, etc.
- Experience will include repairing line replaceable units to component level (i.e. conductor repair and component removal and replacement to include applicable soldering procedures and precautions).
- Experience will include troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti- icing, hydraulics, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems as applicable.
- Experience in performing miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing fluids, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
- Must possess advanced skills to perform calibrations, adjustments and tests on aircraft systems and components; analyze operation, verify discrepancies, isolate malfunctions and replace defective components used in installed devices.
- Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time, and have the ability to climb ladders and stairs. Normal color vision is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with fighter aircraft maintenance and or management.
- Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on military fighter platforms (e.g. F-16, F-18, F-35, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15).
- Experience as a Crew Chief and or Avionics Technician.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
- Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

- Maintains critical engine defect rectification in light, heavy and Doha line to ensure operational reliability.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
ICAO Type 2 Basic license with minimum 5 years Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship). - Qatar Airways fleet engine Type Engine maintenance Experience.

About the role
You will be responsible to ensure that all scheduled and non-scheduled Aircraft equipment maintenance tasks are carried out under the supervision of GSE Shift leader to the highest possible standard. Some of the tasks include:
• Conduct the scheduled daily, monthly and annual periodic checks on all aircraft equipment in order to ensure that all equipment is working properly and prevent any issues or concerns.
• Operates aircraft equipment or tooling relating to work area in order to accomplish the maintenance tasks and to maintain serviceability.
• Address and resolve maintenance tasks escalated by the Assistant Mechanic following established protocols set by the maintenance manuals and Part 145 A/C Equipment Workshop Procedures.
• Examines and inspects equipment components for cracks, breaks or leaks and repairs accordingly.
• Report and escalate major repair work needed to be done to the Shift Leader following established protocols set by the maintenance manuals and Part 145 Aircraft Equipment Workshop Procedures.
• Assembles and installs electrical, plumbing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
• Reads and interprets equipment maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Implement technical solutions for various technical problems related to technical base or line maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on aircraft equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed to address issues with efficiency.
• Ensure that maintenance tasks comply with the technical instructions to carry out maintenance on ground equipment and sign off that work completed is in accordance with the CMM or stated instructions

About You
Dynamic and competent candidate to join the Technical GSE Department must possess the following:
• High School Qualification/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of job-related/Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship)
• Trade or Vocational Qualification in Aircraft Maintenance OR Equivalent Aeronautical Degree
• Candidates with experience on maintenance & operation of wide body Aircraft maintenance docking system is an added advantage.

Some Of The Tasks Include- Conduct the scheduled daily, monthly and annual periodic checks on all aircraft equipment in order to ensure that all equipment is working properly and prevent any issues or concerns.
- Operates aircraft equipment or tooling relating to work area in order to accomplish the maintenance tasks and to maintain serviceability.
- Address and resolve maintenance tasks escalated by the Assistant Mechanic following established protocols set by the maintenance manuals and Part 145 A/C Equipment Workshop Procedures.
- Examines and inspects equipment components for cracks, breaks or leaks and repairs accordingly.
- Report and escalate major repair work needed to be done to the Shift Leader following established protocols set by the maintenance manuals and Part 145 Aircraft Equipment Workshop Procedures.
- Assembles and installs electrical, plumbing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
- Reads and interprets equipment maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Implement technical solutions for various technical problems related to technical base or line maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance on aircraft equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed to address issues with efficiency.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks comply with the technical instructions to carry out maintenance on ground equipment and sign off that work completed is in accordance with the CMM or stated instructions

Qualifications About YouDynamic and competent candidate to join the Technical GSE Department must possess the following:
- High School Qualification/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of job-related/Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship)
- Trade or Vocational Qualification in Aircraft Maintenance OR Equivalent Aeronautical Degree
- Candidates with experience on maintenance & operation of wide body Aircraft maintenance docking system is an added advantage.
- English language and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Part 145 aircraft equipment Maintenance.
- Ability to perform most tasks and duties independently typical to area of specialty.
- Repairing aircraft equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Good knowledge of TRAX ERP w.r.t GSE inventory and must able complete the documentation after each task.
- Understanding categories of equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents w.r.t GSE required to carry out various equipment maintenance tasks
- Driving License is preferred

About The Role
You will be responsible to ensure that all scheduled and non-scheduled Aircraft equipment maintenance tasks are carried out under the supervision of the GSE Shift Leader to the highest possible standard. All maintenance (periodic and corrective) should be performed as per manufacturer maintenance manuals and Part 145 A/C equipment workshop procedures, in the most productive and cost-effective manner using the available resources. Responsible for all required work in accordance with approved technical data and QR standards and procedures to the highest shop practices and in the interest of safety of aircraft equipment. Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within the frame work of procedures and set time frames by performing effectively with an environment of time constraints and a high level of technical competency.
