**About the role**:
As a Senior Ground Handling & Security Officer,** **you will be responsible for ensuring the protection and safeguarding of passengers & Crew and their baggage against acts of unlawful interference perpetrated on ground or in-flight.
The role holder will ensure that all staff members under the jurisdiction adhere to the safety regulations and policies and maintain discipline per the company's policy.
In this role, you will represent Ground Services management around the clock being the focal point for all ground handling and security activities as well as working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and coordinate with different business partners to ensure smooth passenger embarkation / disembarkation and baggage loading / offloading.
**Specific responsibilities of the role include**:
- Responsible for ensuring safe, on-time, and efficient operation and handling process at the Land Aerodrome and Water Docking station through proper planning, organizing, and monitoring of all activities of Ground services.
- Reduce operational costs by minimizing overtime hours of staff through cross-utilizing available resources from different areas and deploying dynamic and flexible resource planning based on operational requirements.
- Record and discuss all operational issues of ramp services with the subordinate staff and higher Management to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operation and constantly improve operational processes.
- Ensure and develop efficient coordination and communication with all relevant stakeholders in the ground handling process, which includes coordination with General Aviation, MOI, and Border Protection Police.
- Support the Ground Operations and Ground Services department in ensuring all areas of the operations are within the planned operating budget.
- Create management reports for forecast and trend analysis to support ground services goals.
- Make recommendations to Management concerning staffing, equipment, and procedures.
- Prepare monthly roster and daily allocation for the team, ensuring operations coverage is in accordance with company procedures and instructions.
- Monitor the Safety of the ramp area by regular safety inspections to identify any breaches or areas of concern, taking remedial action to rectify deficiencies within set safety standards.
- Develop safe work procedures in line with industry practice for persons operating on the ramp areas & water docking stations. Ensure all Aircraft are handled as per policies and procedures laid down in the company Manual
- Ensure that quality and service standards are met at all times. Ensure the on-time performance of all assigned flights.

- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience **OR** Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
- Technical field education is preferred.
- Previous experience in Ground Services and Amphibian aircraft handling.
- License/ certificate in Ground Handling and Ramp Service.
- Proficiency in Ramp Handling Procedures.
- Safety and Security practices as stipulated by (ICAO/IATA) and the company's safety policy.
- Good working knowledge of Airport communications systems.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.

**About the role**:
As a Ground Handling & Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for acting as the Base Coordinator to coordinate all operational and administrative functions relevant to flight operations to/from the assigned Location and will act as the representative of the Company. In this role, you will work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and coordinate with different business partners to ensure smooth passenger embarkation/disembarkation. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting the designated area and ensure that the Landing Strip / Waterway is cleared for Aircraft operation.
**Specific responsibilities of the role include**:
- Supervise the timely off-loading of flights immediately following aircraft arrival.
- Coordinate with the contracted Ground Services team to ensure a smooth process of passenger embarkation and disembarkation, as well as baggage loading/unloading in Doha and in Docking stations.
- Assist in the investigation of complaints from passengers, clients, flight crew, and other departments, as applicable, to determine preventive measures to be taken to avoid the recurrence.
- Perform spot-checks from time to time to ensure that quality, service and hygiene levels are maintained on the docking equipment and platform to ensure all defects are reported and addressed to avoid any incidents or accidents.
- Ensure that quality and service standards are met at all times.
- Ensure on-time performance of all assigned flights.
- Act as a company representative during all matters related to passenger handling to ensure customer satisfaction and safe operations.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and serviceability of the following equipment provided by the Company, which will be permanently allocated for the Location including:
- Jetty/Platform and related equipment;
- Shore attachments;
- Safety Equipment.
- Check the water level with the appropriate water source authority, inform the ground operations department and the flight dispatch, and record such information before the commencement of Flight Operation.
- Provide a safety boat with the relevant safety equipment during aircraft operation or as required by regulations to ensure safe operations.
- Report the visibility in all quadrants, precipitation, temperature, cloud base, wind direction/speed and any other significant phenomenon to the Ground Ops and Flight Dispatch and record such information.
- Inspect the designated area and ensure that the Landing Strip / Waterway is cleared for landing. In case any obstacles are seen on the Landing Strip / Waterway, the Base Co-ordinator shall immediately inform Ground Ops and Flight Dispatch to receive and record such information.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About the role
You will be responsible to provide seamless operations and services to QR passengers who use DQ products (airport transit tours, hotels, car rental, city tours) and also to promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination by employing effective processes to provide quality tour consultation. Lead the Team and deputize for the Line Manager in terms of Airport Operations during his/her absence.
Other key responsibilities are:
Operational
- Lead the Team and provide support on daily Discover Qatar's operations at the airport. Coordinate with third party suppliers and ensure the tours run without delay and issues. Ensure hand over is done from one shift Lo the next for smooth running of the day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all booking requests are actioned as per the SOPC.
- Conduct quality check for all DQ suppliers and Vendors.
- Prepare regular reports of any delay in guests pick up vehicle break down and send to respective departments, maintain weekly and monthly reports on tour manifest and monitor the flow of passengers.
- Provide excellent customer support and support the Team to solve customer issues. Attend, investigate and provide quick and valuable feedback for customer complaints - provide solutions for all customer service scenarios, including customer complaints as per procedures and further assist the passengers in their common queries
- Assist the Line Manager in preparing the budgets and be the first point of contact for any enquiries with the Finance Team, undertake day-to-day Team management and administration, including but not limited to being responsible of cash handling and daily sales reconciliation, assisting with refunds.
- Arrange delivery, collection and stock collection of official documents and other collaterals.
- Support the Team in-case of any emergency situations.
- Assist the Line Manager in future expansion project of the Operations.
