Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Network Engineer located in Doha, Qatar. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network systems. Daily tasks include network administration, network security management, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and reliability of network infrastructure. The role requires close collaboration with other IT professionals to maintain and enhance the company's networking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, etc.)

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs)

• Monitor network performance and integrity

• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, scheduling upgrades

• Collaborate with other network and system engineers on infrastructure improvements

• Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies

• Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations and procedures

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations

• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer (Level 2) to join our team.
