POSITION SUMMARY:
Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the business is supported at the back office end through generation of multitude of reports and dashboards that assist managers in making business decisions, reduction of costs through timely coordination with showrooms and vendors of prices, stock returns, PO placement and delivery, and ageing stock management. This role is critical in providing insights into sales performance, inventory management, customer experience, and overall business health across our network of APR stores. Business Analyst will work closely with product/service management, store managers, support departments, 3PP vendors, and Apple's channel team to ensure alignment with Apple's business standards and deliver outstanding business results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze sales, margin, and operational data across all APR locations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for internal stakeholders and Apple.
- Monitor KPIs including sales per location and LOB, attach rates (GaitCare, accessories), conversion rates, footfall traffic, and inventory turns.
- Work with finance and operations teams to develop and track annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve store productivity and profitability.
- Partner with the Apple channel team to track compliance with APR program requirements and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Support new store openings with market analysis, business case preparation, and performance tracking post-launch.
- Conduct competitive analysis of the local market and benchmark against other APRs and retail channels.
- Support marketing campaigns and measure ROI of promotional activities.
- Develop dashboards and tools to improve visibility of key metrics for product managers and leadership.
- Help evaluate and implement new technologies, processes, or tools to improve retail performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in retail analysis, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or business consulting, preferably in consumer electronics or premium retail.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, P&L drivers, and operational processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Keynote, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience working in or with Apple Premium Reseller businesses is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities to convey insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
