Job Description

Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions or other problems.
- Ensure that any violations to law or academy policy is investigated and reported.
- Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference.
- Maintaining logs of security incidents and making sure they are reported to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor all visitors attempting to access the academy throughout the day and to ensure they have been authorized by management prior to undertake any works commencing.
- Maintain the appropriate and optimum usage of the CCTV system.
- To be able to monitor and operate the CCTV system, ensuring fully functioning recording, when licensed so to do.
- Monitor and assist where possible the security staff in the detention of any person found committing an offense.
- Ensure that security procedures are being followed at all times and keeping records and logs fully up to date.
- Installing and maintaining security equipment such as alarms or access control systems.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding company information records of data collected and used.
- Report any infringement of the Code of conduct to the line manager at earliest opportunity.
- IT Support experience is advantage.
