Qualification:
- Degree in Engineering or Science with a major in Engineering
- 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including 4 years in a project management role
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform process engineering activities to support project execution, ensuring compliance with standards and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure activities adhere to regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations.
- Resolve engineering issues and communicate with the Project Execution Team, escalating issues when necessary.
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to Project Management.
- Support external engineering teams and representatives to ensure design aligns with expectations.
- Evaluate complex tasks and provide recommendations; support multidisciplinary tasks.
- Monitor and guide FEED, EPC Contractors, and third-party services throughout project phases.

1. **Process Design and Optimization**: - Develop and design treatment processes and systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, considering factors such as flow rates, contaminant levels, water quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Create process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment layouts to illustrate the treatment process and equipment arrangement. 2. **Technical Analysis**: - Perform technical calculations, determine the most efficient and effective treatment methods for removing contaminants such as solids, organic matter, chemicals, and pathogens from water and wastewater streams.
- Conduct hydraulic and mass balance calculations to ensure the proper functioning of treatment units and overall system.
2. **Equipment Selection and Specification**: - Select appropriate equipment, such as pumps, valves, reactors, filters, membranes, and chemical dosing systems, based on their compatibility with the treatment process and desired outcomes.
3. - Prepare equipment specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents for purchasing and installation.
4. **Process Troubleshooting**: - Identify and address operational issues and inefficiencies within water and wastewater treatment processes, proposing solutions to optimize system performance. - Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any process-related challenges that arise during the construction or operation phases.
5. **Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Impact**: - Ensure that the designed treatment processes meet local, state, and federal regulations and environmental standards for water quality and discharge limits.
6. **Project Coordination**: - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical engineers, to integrate process design into the overall project. -Ensure that the 3D models / other drafting details in drawings are upto the essential quality & specification to be adhered on.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and communicate progress and updates to project stakeholders.
7. **Cost Analysis and Budgeting**: - Estimate costs associated with the design, procurement, installation, and operation of treatment processes and equipment. - Work within project budgets and propose cost
- effective solutions without compromising treatment efficiency.
8. **Documentation and Reporting**: - Maintain detailed documentation of process design, calculations, simulations, and technical specifications. - Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design concepts, results, and recommendations to clients / management,.
9. **Continuous Learning and Innovation**: - Stay up-to-date with advancements in water and wastewater treatment technologies, regulations, and industry best practices. - Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in treatment processes and suggest new technologies or methods to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
