Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry to lead and manage the accounting operations of the company. Key Responsibilities

Chief Accountant Job Overview

The Chief Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with legal standards, and implementation of efficient accounting processes. This is a senior-level role ideal for professionals with strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  2. Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification preferred
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  4. Strong knowledge of Budgeting, Auditing, Financial Forecasting , and Banking Procedures
  5. Experience in preparing Management Reports and handling the complete accounting cycle
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  2. Monitor company’s financial performance and implement cost control strategies
  3. Manage internal audits and coordinate with external auditors
  4. Supervise day-to-day accounting operations
  5. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial laws
  6. Support strategic planning with accurate financial forecasts and reports
  7. Guide and mentor junior accounting staff
  8. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
  9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  10. Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  12. Familiarity with local Qatari accounting and taxation laws is a plus
