- Having sound experience in the design and analysis of new and existing buildings, structures, foundations, infrastructure and civil works including drainage design, roads and pavement design commonly found in oil & gas facilities.
- Having good experience in the design of both concrete and steel structures including piperacks, buildings, technological structures, equipment supporting structures, pipe bridges, pipe supports, pipe sleepers, etc.
- Having good experience in the design and checking of different types of foundations such as isolated, combined, raft etc including dynamic foundations, equipment foundations, compressor foundations, pump foundations, underground pits/structures, etc.
- Having good experience both working and checking level for the adequacy checks for the existing structures and foundations including piperacks, buildings, pipe bridges, technological structures, equipment foundations, etc.
- Must have executed recent projects in Intergraph Smart Plant 3D modeling environment
- Supervise less experienced civil engineers and, where required, be line manager for civil engineers within Qatar office.
- As required, perform the role of Lead Engineer including estimating and planning work as well as progress reporting.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of civil personnel
- Follow company standards and procedures to schedule and budget as advised by the Lead civil Engineer
- Remain up to date with the latest technical developments in your fields of expertise
- Demonstrate, provide and develop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues
- Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets using sound technical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with engineering software such as STAAD-Pro, Foundation 3D, Mat 3D, etc. - both as a user and checker.
