Responsibilities
  • Evaluate construction costing and preparation of the programme forecast and budgets with liaison with post contract commercial control issues.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the database for construction budgets and costing, evaluation of tender prices and unit rates.
  • Liaison with package managers/coordinators, cost managers, commission managers and claims engineers on all commercial/contract issues and pricing variations.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in related discipline

This role provides comprehensive cost-control services and financial support for projects, maintaining project cost information. In collaboration with the Project Controls Lead, the engineer oversees variations and revisions to existing budgets.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor, control, and report on project costs, including cost history and forecasts.
  2. Maintain planned and actual cost and commitment schedules.

  4. Create Budget Transfer Requests as directed by project teams.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role; GCC experience is a plus.
  • Preferred candidates have experience in Construction, MEP, or Mechanical sectors.

Education

In conjunction with Head Project Controls develop and implement corrective actions and recovery plans ensuring these are implemented in a timely manner.
