Key Responsibilities:

1. Leads and supervises the electrical section in maintenance-related jobs, provides assistance in troubleshooting, issues reports on major failures, and recommends suitable actions to minimize or eliminate recurrence of the problems.

3. Plans and prepares periodical preventative maintenance schedule at the beginning of each year and carries out duties mentioned therein in coordination with the Operations Manager.
4. Oversees troubleshooting of complex electrical problems and failures by working closely with his team whenever required.
5. Issues reports on major problems and failures, suggests suitable corrective actions to minimize or prevent recurrence of the problem.
6. Periodically reviews the preventive maintenance programs to evaluate its efficiency.

Education:
Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized college.

Experience:
3 years of related maintenance work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of all MEP systems, activities, and processes.

Behavioral Skills:
- Able to work under pressure and with groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Self-motivated with skills to motivate others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Plan work activities, lead various Pre-project teams and liaison with all the stakeholders to ensure execution of assigned project activities to meet set objectives and overcome challenges.
• Carrying out engineering work for Pre-Projects including root cause analysis, engineering calculations using software, as per codes and standards. Producing engineering deliverables, carrying out required safety & environmental studies to facilitate smooth execution of the Projects.
• Ensure delivery of Pre-project work with the optimal technical solution and deliverables to the required quality within the set time schedule & cost following Project Execution Guidelines and in compliance with The Company's Engineering Specifications & Procedures.
• Develop and maintain/update Specifications/standards on engineering practice within the trades, including incorporation of lessons learnt.
• Keep informed of technological developments in the area of responsibility in order to update knowledge, identify and recommend opportunities for increased effectiveness and/or cost reduction.
• Provide technical support to Operations Division, as per the requirement, meeting the required quality of work & schedule.

• Minimum of 7 years direct and relevant experience working within the Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.
• Understand the codes and standards for electrical engineering in oil and gas facilitates.
• Know earthing, cathodic and lightning protection systems; know contract provisions, stipulations and electrical code requirements; inspect and commission electrical installations.
• Know engineering management principles and practices, safer design and safe and reliable operation of facilities and assets; reduce risk to personnel, assets and the environment.
• Know how to organize and lead a project management team for the implementation of a project; plan the optimum sequence of activities based on criteria such as resource allowed budget; project gatekeeping process; prepare, communicate and update gatekeeping project plans.
• Exposure effectively win bids by compiling technical requirements of proposals, generating project estimates and submitting required bid documentation timely in accordance with RFP specifications.
• Deliver a detailed plan defining the project scope, schedule, technical specifications, method of execution and resources required to deliver a quality project on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities

Technical Maintenance Activities

• Analyse daily maintenance activities against plans and make adjustments as required to support objectives.
