Job Purpose

The AV Technician is responsible for the setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and conferencing equipment. This role supports internal and external events, meetings, presentations, and live or virtual productions to ensure high-quality AV experiences.

About the role

As an AV Technician, you will work hands-on with audio, video, and lighting equipment to support live events, hybrid meetings, and digital broadcasts. You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of AV projects — from preparing and installing equipment to operating it during events and ensuring everything is properly stored or maintained afterwards.

You'll collaborate with event coordinators, IT teams, and production staff to deliver flawless technical support. Your daily tasks might include configuring sound systems, setting up projectors and displays, managing video conferencing platforms, and troubleshooting connectivity or performance issues under pressure.

The Audio Visual (AV) Technician shall be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events and helping with installations of the system.

The ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable in technical aspects of audio and video production, can troubleshoot issues with equipment, and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting Up Equipment: Transporting, installing, and connecting AV equipment such as projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and monitors.
