Job Summary
The Financial Controller is accountable for overseeing daily financial operations and ensuring the integrity of the organization's financial data, including complete and accurate trail balances and balance sheets. The role involves enforcing financial policies and internal controls, monitoring operational performance, managing reporting systems, and leading a team of accounting professionals. The position plays a critical role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and alignment across departments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the development of departmental goals and strategic initiatives, and lead their execution to meet financial targets.
- Determine resource needs during annual budgeting and ensure alignment with departmental priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance against established KPIs and report progress to leadership.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including payables, receivables, fixed assets, and general ledger activities. Refine policies and procedures for improved accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing performance feedback and development support.
- Own and manage financial reporting systems and ERP modules, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial data.
- Maintain complete and reconciled balance sheets and present monthly reports to senior leadership.
- Lead accounts receivable and collections processes, including credit risk assessment and board reporting on debtor and creditor metrics.
- Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and compliance measures to meet audit and regulatory standards.
- Act as the audit lead and coordinate with external auditors to resolve all issues and ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure full adherence to IFRS,Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, financial institutions, and regulators to support effective financial operations.
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Possession of a professional accounting designation such as CA, CPA, ACCA,
Experience If your experience does not meet the followings, you will be automatically knocked out by our system
- 13 to 16 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong exposure to listed company environments, preferably in IT Consulting Companies (Such asG42, Injazat, Etisalat Digital, Capita, Fujitsu UK, Softcat, Dimension Data, BCX, EOH Holdings, CGI Inc., Softchoice, Compugen )
- At least ten years in a managerial or leadership role (Preferably Financial Controller or CFO)

Your Role
The National Finance Controller manages the business performance by acting as a business partner to the assigned Business Unit / Functional Unit, challenging the status quo and analysing the past to shape the future. The Controller supports business strategy development, develops and maintains risk management concepts, monitors tactical execution, disseminates financial knowledge and provides visibility using all available data to enable effective business decisions.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform and lead regular business reviews, including follow-up and corrective actions. Continuously monitor business performance to identify proactive measures that enhance profitability and productivity, while mitigating potential risks.
- Ensure effective forex management to minimize negative P&L exposure. Develop and maintain risk management systems and follow up on billing, deferrals, and the accuracy of accruals.

Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or ACCA are a strong plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, business partnering, or similar finance roles within an international or matrix organization.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems
