Project Duration : 6 Months Extendable
Minimum Qualification:
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Power/Civil engineering OR a Technical Diploma with 3-year course of study in appropriate field of engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing EPC Projects on a turnkey basis.
- Underground cables experience and infrastructure
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and supervision of installation of cable support works and earthing works.
- Direct and supervise the cable laying, jointing and terminations works.
- Make cable route survey and route finalization of entire cable route including tunnels. Prepare and submit route survey report consisting of nature of soil, existing services in and around corridor along with the level of water table if available.
- Allocate manpower, machinery and materials at work site.
- Make material submission for approval from client/ consultant.
- Conduct testing of 220kv, 132kV, 33kV, 11kV and pilot cables.
- Coordinate to receive stock & deliver the various cables, joints, sealing ends & link boxes.
- Prepare the RFI and approval of material on site by consultant/ client.
- Prepare setting out details of horizontal directional drilling and open cut road crossing. Supervision and installation of cable management system in utility tunnel.
- Responsible for getting all clearances and permits required for the projects from client and consultants.
- Coordinate with all concerned authorities for obtaining NOC's before staring the site activities.
- Correspond and coordinate with main contractor/ consultant.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly program and progress report.
- Generating invoices as per the Bill Of Quantities.
- Verification of subcontractor measurement sheets and invoices.
- Ensure safety at the work site.
- Monitor the practice of relevant systems & procedures at site.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
