We are currently recruiting for an innovative and experienced Business Development Project Manager to join our organisation based in Doha, Qatar. The purpose of this role is to initiate & sustain relations with existing & potential business partners, conducting necessary research on viability of projects including macro-economic assessments, market analysis and benchmarking, financial modelling, analysis and projections.
The role will also involve developing comprehensive business plans, providing strategic advise to senior management and overall project management of any new business initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Conducts macro-economic assessments including focus group, mystery shopping, industry analysis, market sizing and gap analysis.
2. Monitoring market changes & competition to provide up to date information to the Business Development Director.
3. Produce reports containing data analysis for new business opportunities.
4. Synchronize & streamline the brand strategies across regional distribution and retail network of the group
5. Identify opportunities (brands, concepts, business practices for franchise, distribution & direct retail).
6. Research & conduct feasibility studies on potential projects including Financial analysis, investment and returns studies to produce a final report with recommendations.
7. Conceptualise and put together the guidelines for new projects containing project scope, planning and defining deliverables, schedules, budget management and status reporting.
8. Study, analyse and finalise proposals in order to close business agreements.
9. Present & hand over final business plan to relevant retail or distribution unit for implementation and daily operational follow-up.
10. Maintain clear communication channels between business development, operational and retail teams.
**Essential Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s degree with additional qualifications in Sales and Marketing is desirable.
- Minimum 8 years in a consultancy role. Operational experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of industry.
- Clear understanding of brand / supply chain.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. - Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
