The Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients.

What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities :
- Proactively monitors the work queues.
- Performs operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests in a timely manner and within the agreed SLA.
- Updates tickets with resolution tasks performed.
- Identifies, investigates, analyzes issues and errors prior to or when they occur, and log all such incidents in a timely manner.
- Captures all required and relevant information for immediate resolution.

Ensure adherence to COMPANY health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Certified Quality Auditor (IRCA) is required ; Lead Auditor registration is preferred .
Trade certification in Electrical/Instrumentation (advantageous).
Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas sector.

The purpose of this role is to deliver Finance and Accounting processes for projects and activities undertaken in the Qatar Shell Development, Subsurface and Wells (DSW) department. The role is focussed on SAP workflows that are required to purchase goods and services, and provides a key accountability in cost control and our relationships with our external and internal suppliers and stakeholders. The role also performs budgeting and performance reporting.
What you'll be doing
Key Accountabilities & Duties
Accountable for key elements of the Requisition to Payment (RtP) process for the DSW and related departments' contracts and invoices, including QA/QC of preliminary and final invoices, and raising of Service Entries to the SAP system.
Transacting of multiple invoices per month, including 3rd party services contracts, 3rd party materials invoices, and Shell internal costs for people and group expertise.
Advising Contract Holders on process governance and invoice details to make initial and final approvals for accurate payments, in line with contract Agreements and the Qatar Shell RtP standard operating process.
Analyse vendors spend profiles for assigned contracts on plan vs actual basis to explain vendor-level variances, gaps to Purchase Order value, gaps to Contract Value, and report on contract spend health and risk to Contract Holders and the leadership team.
Prepare month-end accounting entries to reconcile project costs and produce standardised reports per active project. Consolidate hard copies into folders and arrange delivery to key stakeholders.
Support two-yearly assurance audit focussed on spend compliance - preparation, field work and close-out.
Liaise with the Supply Chain and Logistics teams to maintain valuation model of inventory of materials common stock across the projects, incorporating goods receipt, issue, restoration, and asset disposal activities, in line with Finance guidance on depreciation.
Perform Value of Work Done (VOWD) and Latest Estimate (LE) / Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations for active projects.
Prepare Journal Vouchers (JV) for cross-department and cross-business cost reallocations.
Support the Supply Chain team to implement new contracts or extensions based on analysis of historical spend.
Finalise invoice payments in consultation with Shell's internal centres of excellence for Accounts Payable, Shell Business Operations (SBO).
Must be a SAP super-user and able to provide system expertise to support the management of all SAP-related processes for the DSW department.
Must be knowledgeable in accountable principles and able to apply professional practices and sound financial judgement to maintain controls, minimize exposure, ensure cost allocation over a set of active projects, and to assure complete cost recovery from third parties.

Lead system testing activities such as pressure tests, electrical load testing, and fire alarm simulations.
Oversee the installation of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, ventilation), electrical systems (substations, lighting, fire alarms), and plumbing systems (sewage, water supply, firefighting).
Troubleshoot issues in HVAC, lighting, escalators, elevators, fire protection systems, and electrical distribution networks to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for site inspections and approvals.
Prepare and maintain site logs, inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress reports accurately and timely.
Review material submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings for accuracy and compliance
Support project handover by providing all necessary documentation and test certificates.
Enforce health and safety regulations on-site related to electrical, mechanical, and civil works.
Ensure that all contractors strictly follow safety protocols while working on-site, especially during the installation of MEP systems.
Conduct weekly inspections of all sites, facilities, buildings, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and company requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to the fit-out team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
MMUP/UPDA Grade B or C (Not Trainee)
Total 10 years of experience with minimum 5 years of experience in Facility Managment
QCDD Certification (Preffered)
Strong understanding of MEP codes, regulations, and standards
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional but advantageous).
Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or corporate fit-out projects (optional but advantageous

Job Summary and Purpose
The Production Engineer provides technical and technological problem-solving abilities in production engineering processes and planning. They lead work teams and oversee the production process, ensuring work is executed to high quality and auditable standards consistent with contract scope, statutory and code requirements, IMS procedures, design parameters, site survey input, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), stress inputs, and vendor data. This role involves performing repair, installation, and modification activities, along with managing subordinates.
Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities :
- Ensure multi-skilled capabilities for all types of welding to execute work as planned.
- Train and qualify welders through On Job Training (OJT) to maintain high standards and business continuity.
- Manage welding equipment and consumables.
- Distribute welding equipment for vessels or projects as per requirements.
- Apply engineering practices to resolve management challenges related to production, optimizing effectiveness, efficiency, and cost.
- Ensure integrity of welding and cutting activities.
- Scale and integrate physical, human, and financial resources to meet high efficiency and continuous improvement goals; monitor daily manpower and manhour consumption, reporting discrepancies to the manager.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to vessel work scope; monitor daily manhour consumption and report to the section manager.
- Coordinate manpower movement, validate Ras Laffan Industrial City ID passes, and monitor daily food requests.
- Raise subcontractor requests if additional manpower is needed; assist in assigning piping engineers based on project specs.
- Study blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
- Review work instructions and risk assessments, ensuring all piping activities are covered; follow up on vessel documentation post-completion.
- Promote a culture of safety and productivity, embodying N-KOM's values.
- Prepare work permits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
- Update risk assessments and environmental aspects as per latest safety practices, obtaining approval from the piping manager.
- Use mathematics and statistics to model production systems for decision-making.
- Design, implement, and refine products, services, processes, and systems considering constraints and local nuances.
- Apply knowledge to improve product and service functionality; drive process improvements to reduce assembly hours and costs.
