The job is performed in a cross-disciplinary environment involving drilling/completion, geosciences, and production departments. The incumbent should develop skills covering reservoir geology, geophysics, subsurface, in addition to core reservoir engineering expertise.

The position is based in Doha, at the TotalEnergies EP Qatar subsidiary’s office in Msheireb Downtown.

Effective communication and coordination skills, data accuracy, adherence to standards, and self-motivation are essential for this role.

Monitoring

• Participate in well production follow-up, data consolidation, analysis, and reporting.
• Contribute to the monthly back-allocation exercises.
• Assist in defining the monthly monitoring program.
• Coordinate with Field operations teams (Production, Well performance, Metering) for production monitoring and follow-up actions on wells.
• Engage in processes to identify and promote production improvement actions.
• QC acquired data with post-mortem analysis for performance improvement.

Propose and develop opportunities for improving well inflow performance and productivity

• Participate actively in the “Barrel Boosting Group,” ensuring reservoir management best practices are considered.
• Recommend production enhancement actions on existing wells to optimize field production and reservoir management.
• Identify and propose new targets, opportunities, and technologies for future infill, lateral, and workover activities to sustain field production.
• Contribute to dynamic reservoir flow model maintenance.
• Perform sensitivities on water injection to optimize production and voidage replacement.

• Education: BSc. in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Experience: Fresh Qatari graduate.
• Technical skills: Strong reservoir engineering knowledge and experience with reservoir software (OFM, PDMS, Spahir, Petex suite, and basic 3D simulation software).
• Behavioral skills: Interactive, autonomous, open-minded, analytical, reliable, team-oriented, client-focused.
• Additional: Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Arabic and/or French is an advantage.

Responsible for the administration of employee activities related to government ministries. Ensure all HR related administrative tasks are carried out according to government regulations and company standards.
