What you will be doing- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of water infrastructure projects, including water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and optimize designs for water systems.
- Apply BIM for infrastructure projects, including network clash detection and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with QCS, KAHRAMAA standards, and relevant authorities' approval procedures.
- Calculate water demand, develop supply strategies, and plan reservoir capacities.
- Design transmission, distribution, storage, and perform transient analysis for large-scale projects.
- Develop valve arrangements, hydraulic chambers, looping techniques, and pump station designs.
- Incorporate sustainable water supply solutions and value engineering principles.
- Plan water demand for strategic and developmental infrastructure projects.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Review and approve technical reports, designs, and calculations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, government agencies, and stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding water quality, safety, and environmental protection.
- Prepare layout plans, profiles, reports, permits, and environmental impact assessments.
- Carry out concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering for potable water networks.
- Write clear and comprehensive technical reports.
- Conduct design reviews for engineering solutions, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Resolve issues during design, construction supervision, and post-contract phases.
- Perform site inspections to monitor construction and maintenance activities.
- Promote sustainable water management practices, including recycling and conservation techniques.
- Explore opportunities to integrate renewable energy into water systems.
- Implement best practices for system reliability, safety, and sustainability.
- Foster collaboration, ensure efficient team utilization, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with other discipline engineers and BIM/CAD technicians on project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct client and project meetings as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in civil / mechanical / water / environmental engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualified (or equivalent) or well-progressed towards qualification.
- 17+ years of experience in water engineering projects, with a focus on infrastructure design and resource management.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrological modeling software (Infoworks WS, Bentley, WaterCAD/WaterGEMS, water hammering, surge analysis, CFD and Autodesk civil 3D, Esri GIS Software's)
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, distribution systems, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preference for a candidate registered with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in Qatar.

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Product Development & Design Division as IFE Entertainment Development Manager in Doha.
As the IFE Entertainment Development Manager , you will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the development and delivery of engaging in-flight entertainment experiences. Working under the guidance of senior leadership and you will be executing the in-flight entertainment strategy and contributing towards maintaining a diverse and appealing content offering. You will lead the selection and acquisition of content, and supports managing the relationships with content providers, streaming platforms, production companies, and technology vendors to enrich the entertainment portfolio.
Some Of The Tasks Include The Following:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Qatar Airways’ brand and target audience demographics. This includes identifying trends, analyzing competitor offerings, and forecasting future content needs.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with content providers, studios, distributors, and licensing agencies to secure high-quality and diverse entertainment options.
- Lead in the curation, selection and acquisition of entertainment content, ensuring they meets the standards of quality, diversity, and relevance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously refresh and expand the content library.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate content delivery systems seamlessly into the inflight entertainment platform. Leverage technology solutions to enhance the passenger experience and streamline content management processes
- Utilize data analytics and passenger feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of content offerings. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize viewer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyright laws, and industry regulations governing the distribution of entertainment content. Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively address any compliance issues.
- Perform other department related duties as directed by Line Manager or Head of Department.

Qualifications
About you
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic professional to join the Product Development and Design.
- High School, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum of 9+ years of experience of inflight entertainment content and media integration systems.
- Financial understanding of content licensing pricing structure and operational costs
- Strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute long-term content strategies aligned with business objectives
- Familiarity with digital content delivery systems, inflight entertainment platforms, and related technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic
- Strong written reporting, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and visualization tools such as Power BI, or any related software.
