Job Description

  • Conduct and support the maintenance, modification and other related works of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, including preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance. Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up tasks to ensure maximum operational efficiency of Company Assets.
Job Purpose

  • Conduct and support the maintenance, modification and other related works of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, including preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance. Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up tasks to ensure maximum operational efficiency of Company Assets.


Reporting and Relationships

  • Reports to Senior Electrical Supervisor (OESS).
  • Direct reports: None.

Internal
  • Regular contact with OES Maintenance, Operations and Engineering departments.

External
  • Periodic contact with contractors and third-party suppliers.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

  • The role provides support to QatarEnergy LNG facilities HVAC maintenance activities by the highest quality and safety standards as per Company standards and codes. This will involve working with project EPCI contractors and PMT offshore and possibly construction activities at contractor yard facility.


Safety Health & Environment

  • Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.


Qatarization Program

  • Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.


Key Job Accountabilities

  • Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up of new equipment and facilities.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on field HVAC equipment as directed in the field and workshop in line with safe work practices.
  • Ensure that applicable material and spare parts are available and in good condition before commencing maintenance activities as per work plan.
  • Ensure applicable maintenance procedures are followed and ensure proper controls are in place to ensure a safe workplace is maintained. Perform work activities with the aim of efficient execution of tasks as per schedule plan.
  • Provide accurate records and close-out reports of all completed work as per company requirements, as requested and guided by Foreman/Supervisor.
  • Participate in troubleshooting of HVAC issues, as directed and guided by Foreman/Supervisor and issues timely reports.
  • Review the Ducting & Instrument Diagram and Drawings (D&IDs,) loop drawings, hook-up drawings, datasheets, logic diagrams and other documents related to the HVAC systems.
  • Participate in Regular Toolbox meeting with colleagues. Report all Near Misses, Incidents and Accidents per company procedure and process.


Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary School education followed by vocational training program (TAFE).


Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 3 years' experience as a technician in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry.


Technical and Business Skills

  • Extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and condition monitoring of HVAC equipment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge in MS Office software.

  • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.

Chase Resourcing Inc. are currently seeking aReal Estate Facilities Maintenance Manager for our client in Qatar.The Facilities Manager oversees all building-related activities and maintains all properties. They actively take part in the PPM planning and managing of day-to-day maintenance requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness and improve the existing facilities at competitive costs.
  • Monitor utility costs and conduct energy analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings or system performance improvements.
  • Ensure that the maintenance team operates its preventive and predictive maintenance programs at optimal costs.
  • Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments, including handover and commissioning of buildings.
  • Provide technical assistance and operational support as required, specifically with respect to environmental conditions, energy utilization, and the basic functions of electrical, FF & FA systems,HVAC systems, plumbing and all related mechanical systems.
  • Review maintenance and repairs performed by building staff.
  • Review and approve materials requested by FM team from procurement / stores.
  • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for Management on budget, expenses, and property performance.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and evaluate maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • BSc /BA in facility management or engineering
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g.CFM ) would be an advantage.
  • Registration with Engineering or Project Management Governance Boards / Entities
  • More than 8 years of experience in managing facilities and building maintenance.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in the Facilities and Maintenance Management area.

Fuel Repair Technician

Company :

Boeing Global Service is seeking for a Fuel Repair Technician to assist in our maintenance efforts in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar .

Position Responsibilities :

Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.

Performs routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Performs validation / verification testing of systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.

Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.

Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).

Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required.

Works under general supervision.

This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government.

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year experience in Aircraft Fuel Systems.

Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)

Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.
