Job Purpose
The Mechanical - Material Handling Engineer will provide technical leadership and support to the Material Handling section, ensuring operational and technical challenges are resolved efficiently. Key Accountabilities
- Identify, design, and propose technical maintenance improvements for the Material Handling section; implement approved plans to support continuous technical enhancement.

- Prepare operating standards for new plant, equipment, and production systems in the Material Handling area.

- Conduct and/or supervise breakdown maintenance for critical equipment to minimise downtime.

- Apply specialist engineering skills to evaluate and resolve technical issues in Material Handling equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians on non-routine plant and process issues.

- Recommend and evaluate equipment for procurement, prepare technical specifications, and ensure effective commissioning.

Cargo Revenue Management Team as a Cargo Inventory Management Analyst in our office in Doha.

The role will be responsible to optimize cargo capacity of a group of flights in order to maximize their revenue contribution to the network, finding the right balance between load factor and yield. Managing the flights over their booking cycle by forecasting the cargo capacity, setting inventory controls and overbooking levels, and filtering the demand. Monitor the performance of the flights and take pro-active and corrective actions
We need you to share your skills and fresh ideas, this includes:
- Determine the available cargo capacity based on forecasted payload and cargo configuration (Passenger aircrafts) to ensure maximum space utilization for cargo
- Understanding booking behavior by analyzing data, refining that into a strategy and taking necessary actions during booking window of the flights
- Set relevant inventory controls to ensure an effective capacity optimization and prevent quality issues
- Filter and Evaluate booking requests based on their economic contribution, operational restrictions of aircraft and origin/destination airport
- Coordinate with sales organization for underperforming flights, initiate Aircraft upgrades or extra sections in cases of high demand
- Perform a flight release of all flights within agreed SLA with Cargo Op’s: Prepare and handover to Cargo ops a booking list including loading priorities and applicable loading instructions
- Provide recovery for offloaded shipments within agreed SLA and according to the commercial priority list in place
- Participation in departments initiatives that directly impacts productivity, workload or revenue performance

**Qualifications**:
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in mathematics, computer science, economics or finance with an added specialization in revenue management (preferred).
- Background in aviation related to sales/ reservation is advantageous
- Strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities
- Planning, time management and organizational skills
- Advanced MS Excel and Tableau
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Team oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience and knowledge in Revenue Management is advantageous
- Previous experience in functions related to Cargo Operations, Sales or Customer Service is advantageous
