We are seeking an experienced Operations Management Leader to join our team for a major 5-year consulting program with a public sector organization focused on the operation and maintenance of roads and drainage assets. The Operations Leader will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for leading consulting and client teams in the execution of operational transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of consultants and client personnel dedicated to operational excellence.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
- Project Development & Execution:
- Design and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery related to roads and drainage assets.
- Oversee the execution of transformational projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with client stakeholders to identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Director and client executives on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in operations management.
- Facilitate training and workshops to enhance the operational capabilities of the client team.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in a relevant area, with at least 15 years in a leading role, preferably within the roads or drainage sectors.
- Qualified professional who has reached the Senior Management level; capable of providing planning, leadership, direction, and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multi-discipline projects.
- Both regional and international experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience shall be gained working in North America, W. Europe, Australia, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformational projects and managing diverse teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Required relevant Chartered status and Professional License(s).
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in operations management principles and methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Language Skills:
- Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential.

- Prepare functional, non-functional, cyber security, data protection and technical specifications for COTS systems/products from external suppliers for implementation.
- Work with solution architects to design right technical architecture to meet business requirements.

- Liaise with suppliers of third-party applications and technology stacks to ensure timely preventive maintenance and prompt resolution of faults. Ensure that suppliers deliver their services with SLAs.

- Ensure adequate quality of documentation for ease of quality assurance, testing, operation and support.
- Support line management in work allocation to junior project staff and performing quality assurance checks as required.
- Manage delivery of subprojects or small systems and solutions, within the established procedures, quality standards and methods to achieve the targets of quality, cost, benefits and time-scales.
- Ensure all software developments/products, deliveries and IT process and procedures are implemented and followed in line with all established corporate IT policies, ISO 27001 and ISO 2000 standards for MATAR IT Services.
- Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the business and to create new opportunities.
- This role is responsible for management of Enterprise & Airport Operational systems.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

**Primary purpose of job**
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the strategic on-going planning, design, and enhancement of
QATARENERGY’s server deployments in the data center for Windows server environment. The focus will be on providing
robust, highly available, responsive, secure, and scalable server environment while minimizing Total Cost of Ownership
(TCO) and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) by deploying state of the art technologies, best practices, policies,
processes, and procedures. Responsible for configuring and managing Windows Server on-premises, hybrid, and
infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform workload as a Windows Server administrator.

Primary Purpose of the Job
QatarEnergy is looking to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer (Systems Security) that will join a team responsible for overall protection, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the ICT systems that supports business operations. The new member is required to support and maintain the day-to-day security operations and system change lifecycle of critical security systems and devices, tools & services. The new member is also required to provide senior technical support for all systems security whilst providing leadership & mentoring to junior team members. Required Experience and Skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- 8 or more years of demonstrated experience in IT of which minimal 5 years of experience in systems security operations function.
- Design, deploy, and manage application system security controls such as application whitelisting.
- Design, deploy and manage Advanced Threat Prevention, Antivirus, host-based firewall/IPS, application control, security scanning for file servers, encryption and device controls.
