Boeing Global Services is seeking an Associate Logistics Services Representative to assist in our maintenance efforts at Al Udeid Air Force Base, Qatar .
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Al Udeid Air Force Base, Qatar. Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
This LSR position will perform Program Work Statements (PWS) requirements related to warehouse operations which includes:
- Inventory management
- Repair cycle, packaging, handling, shipping & transportation (PHS&T)
- Pick-up & Delivery
- Demand processing, material distribution, acquiring resources, and assist in providing technical processes to deliver statement of work deliverables.
- Perform tasks to the standards of the contractual and cultural requirements.
- Coordinate transportation from domestic/international military, and maintenance teams.
- Assists with researching, identifying and resolving customer supply support system inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborates with company organizations to identify and resolve system issues.
- Monitors logistics system performance.
- Prepares required company reports.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ Years of experience in logistics, supply support, supply chain and/or military supply experience
- 2+ years of experience in working Procurement, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Material Management and/or Logistics processes.
- 2+ years of experience with warehouse operations
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer's needs and statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

Job Purpose
The Mechanical - Material Handling Engineer will provide technical leadership and support to the Material Handling section, ensuring operational and technical challenges are resolved efficiently. The role will identify opportunities for technical improvement to support a cost-effective production process capable of delivering high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify, design, and propose technical maintenance improvements for the Material Handling section; implement approved plans to support continuous technical enhancement.
- Develop and refine maintenance operating standards, policies, and procedures to improve overall performance.
- Prepare operating standards for new plant, equipment, and production systems in the Material Handling area.
- Plan and oversee preventative maintenance activities to ensure high plant and equipment reliability with minimal production downtime.
- Develop a long-term maintenance plan (5-year horizon) for Material Handling equipment, securing management approval.
- Conduct and/or supervise breakdown maintenance for critical equipment to minimise downtime.
- Manage smaller projects and contribute to larger initiatives, from feasibility studies to implementation, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Apply specialist engineering skills to evaluate and resolve technical issues in Material Handling equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians on non-routine plant and process issues.
- Deliver on-the-job training, instruction, and demonstrations to enhance team competence and performance.
- Recommend and evaluate equipment for procurement, prepare technical specifications, and ensure effective commissioning.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and report progress at management meetings.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenditure to ensure effective cost management.
- Generate technical and maintenance reports to support senior management decision-making.
- Participate in Quality Control Circle activities and implement process improvements.
- Liaise with equipment suppliers and external contractors to address technical issues and manage major maintenance or upgrade work.
- Develop specifications and operating standards for new equipment to optimise operational performance.
- Analyse incidents/accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems within scope of control.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the line manager.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 7-8 years' experience with Material Handling equipment in steel production or a similar environment (e.g., ship unloaders, stacker reclaimers, conveyors, axial fans, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, compressors, dust collection systems, jetty equipment).

The Automated Logistics Control System is a flagship database application and consists of multiple modules for supplysupport, assetmanagement, work planning andadministrationas well as systemconfiguration management. ALCS has been an RTX application for 40+years,and the team has continued toinnovateand expand its capabilities.
This unaccompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar for an international assignment with additional compensation.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
What You Will Do
- Responsiblefor assistingcustomersin the use of ALCS and theadministrationof the data generated by the transactions in the application.
- Developrequirements fromcustomerinteraction, and process definitions thatneedupdate or modification.
- Utilize softwareresourcesand MS SQL procedures tocreatereports, dashboards andcustomerdata requests asneeded.
- Supportthe creation / adjustment of transactions at both application and database layer.
