Under the supervision of the recreation manager or the facility manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of the operation. Services provided include, but are not limited to, special events, marketing, entertainment, games, and other supporting activities as specified. Job Responsibilities 1
Develop, coordinate, promote, and evaluate recreational programs for all ages and abilities. Ensure opportunities for a variety of safe, accessible, and appropriate recreational activities in the recreational facilities within the Township with minimal barriers. Develop, coordinate, and assist with the implementation of special events based on community needs and actively participate in community-operated events when necessary. Ensure best practices and standards are followed in program and event development and implementation. Establish and maintain appropriate public relations within the community. Job Responsibilities 2
Respond to community needs and public inquiries or complaints related to recreation programming. Promote and publicize all recreation and leisure programs/services through media sources and direct community contact. Develop, recommend, and implement recreation programming policies and procedures. Organize, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with individuals, user groups, schools, and community groups, assisting with their needs (facility access, promotion, connections with other groups, etc.). Attend Recreation Advisory Committee meetings. Responsible and accountable for special assignments as assigned by the manager. Manage recreation and facility operations, including energy management reporting. Liaise with Recreation and Public Works staff to maximize efficient use of facilities. Additional Responsibilities

Required skills include collaboration, accountability, resilience, quality leadership, relationship management, event management, event planning, guest relations, and entertainment management, all at Level 2. Job Experience

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
