The Director Reporting & Accounting is responsible for the corporate financial reporting process, which includes preparing consolidated financial statements and quarterly reports for the board of directors and other stakeholders. S/He is responsible for reviewing the financial statements including balance sheets while adhering to GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reporting and accounting team in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statements and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and forecasts.
  • Provide input on the financial implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives.

  • Provide leadership to establish and maintain effective measures over financial reporting processes.
  • Review bank reconciliations and keep track of daily accounting records, ledger entries, and reconciliations.

  • Support the audit process by providing relevant organization’s financial records, any other relevant document that the auditors need and presenting the reports on the results of the audit including recommendations to the CFO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance - Preferably a Professional Qualification such as ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/ICWA.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance, preferably in the real estate sector with minimum 5 years in a similar role.
