**About this role**
- Accountable for managing all high level emergency incidents with multi-agency involvement and making strategic decisions of national and international Importance to mitigate the effects of the incident on the population, multi-national companies and the national economy.
- Accountable for the operation, maintenance and management of a first class Industrial Cities Emergency Control Centre in coordination with the National Command Centre. Responsible for providing the most effective methods of communications between the Emergency Control Room and all associated stakeholders to offer a first class efficient mobilising system for the effective deployment of emergency resources. Analyse the statistical data taken from the bi-daily reports and the shift log sheets to identify trends and initiate appropriate remedial actions.
- Accountable for the Emergency Response procedures ensuring synergies with end users and multiple national emergency response agencies. Lead in the setting of standards and goats for emergency planning and response to ensure the company has enough fire, security and medical resources to effectively control any emergency incident in the cities. Develop, maintain and review the emergency response plans for the cities directorate to ensure best practice and alignment with end users so that the most effective response options are always deployed.
- Represent Company as a specialist adviser for meetings, investigations and at audits to provide answers to questions involving plans, procedures, resources and communications regarding emergency response.
- Meet with ail Safety, Health, Fire, Environmental, Security and Medical departments to ensure the cities have effective emergency response plans that satisfy legal, national and corporate requirements
- Formulate emergency response training exercises as well as awareness programs to educate employees, contractors, mutual aid partners, visitors and community members within and external to the cities to allow a greater degree of understanding of the risks associated with each city. With the mutual aid partners provide a better understanding of the procedures to be employed for their safety and effectiveness when they attend a major incident within the cities.
- Provide a link between principal management throughout Qatar about the emergency response capabilities, resources and procedures employed In the Industrial cities.
- Represent the directorate at meetings, conferences and on working groups to both collect and provide information regarding emergency response thereby gathering up to date ideas and procedures used by international companies that may be used to improve the emergency response services in the cities.
- Conduct a process of emergency response assessments for all end users and company emergency response facilities thereby providing a benchmarking process for comparison between companies and an ethos of continuous improvement for all stakeholders within the directorate.

**What you need to bring**
- Must have a Degree or equivalent in an Emergency Response related field of study, such as safety, health, environment, fire, security, risk management, emergency planning or disaster management.
- Ideally have more than 15 years' experience in an Emergency Response related profession with emergency planning experience for the oil, gas or chemical industry.
- Must be an effective communicator with over 10 years of experience producing and delivering strategic high level presentations to senior management from industry.
