Responsibilities- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment
- Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
- Develop detailed design review of various instrumentation and automation engineering deliverables (instrument datasheet, instrument list and I / O list, instrument sizing for flow element and valves, calculations, engineering data sheets, specifications, Control Philosophies, Control Narratives, Safety Narratives and Logic diagrams)
- Prepare / adapt new or existing drawings and documents for project specific objectives. Supervise, check, and validate drawings and documents prepared by others
- Perform vendor Technical Bid Evaluations and make technical recommendations based upon best overall value
- Develop Design Change Requests, Work Schedules
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control)
- Minimum 5 years Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas projects
- Candidates with Experience in Qatar is preferred
- Experience FEED, Detail design and EPC projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design / engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
- Communication skill (excellent command on both spoken and written English)
- Computer skill (Microsoft Office)

Structural Design Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structures/Bridges Design Engineerto join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Detailed structural design of bridges, tunnels, underpasses, retaining walls, car parks, and public infrastructure-related buildings/structures.
Produce design drawings, calculations reports and specifications.
Supervise other engineers and CAD team as per project task assigned.
May supervise subordinates and provide input regarding performance. Provides technical guidance to younger engineers.
Proficient in utilizing standard engineering principles, techniques and analyses to complete conventional, moderately complex assignments within the structure discipline.
Proficient in utilizing engineering software packages associated with the structures discipline.
Track the progress of the assigned design and report to the Senior and Principal Engineers of the status and any issues that may arise during the design development.
Support other engineering activities as required by the senior and principal engineer.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Be self-motivated and require minor supervision on committed tasks.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering and 5+ years of related work experience. Work experience must be related to HANDS-ON DESIGN of structures.
Intimate knowledge of the following software: Midas Civil, CSi Bridge, SAP2000, Structural bridge Design (Autodesk), AutoCAD, Bentley RAM connections/elements, Prokon.

Business-level English language skills sufficient to produce well-written reports with organized structure and minimal need for grammatical corrections, and to hold articulate verbal communications.
Good verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with the client, management, and project personnel on technical and non-technical subjects.
Interfaces with Clients on matters relating to work assignments.
Must be MME registered.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is highly preferred.
