Key Job Accountabilities

Maintain a Financial Reporting

Prepare quarterly, half-yearly and annual consolidated financial statements within required timeline

Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with IFRS & US GAAP

Present entity level performance on CFO’s quarterly review meeting

Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports / information to various regulatory authorities (QFMA, QSE, Statistics Dept. etc.)

Coordinate with external auditors for annual statutory audit, half-yearly review and interim audit to ensure that all audit queries are adequately addressed and resolved in a timely manner

Provide monthly OPEX cost report for Fleet Dept. to comment on variances

Planning

Lead annual budget activity and seek relevant information and explanations from budget owners

Prepare entity level annual budget with analysis & explanations

Prepare financial slides for JV Board meeting and present the annual budget to the JV Board

Internal Controls

Co-ordinate with departments to ensure Risk Control Matrix for ICOFR is up to date

Work with departments or consultant to ensure annual testing of operating effectiveness of internal controls is performed

Co-ordinate with External Auditor to ensure alignment on RCM and ICOFR testing and remediation actions

Due Diligence & Investor Relations

Prepare ad-hoc models and analysis to support operational and strategic business decisions.

Support Investor Relations team on Arabic related matters – (dealing with regulatory authorities & shareholders’ inquiries)

Support Investor Relations team on The Company’s Board meetings AGM / EGM and related communications with regulatory authorities

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any related field

Specialized certificates are preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA…etc)

Experience Required

Minimum 4 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry.

Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and tools. (US GAAP & IFRSs)

About The Role

As the Senior Cargo Operational Performance Reporting Analyst , you will lead, develop, review and re-build operational reporting to ensure visibility of key metrics. You will provide analysis of operational indicators and operational business performance to the operations management team. Collaborate with the procedures team for process reviews, identify trends and provide data driven insights. Additionally, you will assess operational issues and recommend solutions or process improvements.

Some Of The Tasks Include The Following:

• Handling overall responsibility for operational reporting, data storage, KPI’s and process improvements.
• Accountable for providing analysis on key metrics and reasoning for changes in operational performance and take feedback from internal and external teams in order to identify gaps in processes and methodologies. Initiate improvements that enhance revenue and decision making
• Engage team to ensure creation and maintenance of well-defined station and market information documents and drive to create efficiencies through easy access, sharing and handover of data, reports and processes.
• To Lead business process reengineering of documented quality and operational strategies covering special commodities, ULDs, messaging and other operational KPIs.
• Develop key reports to for operational areas including Special Products teams, Quality, Operations, ULD Control, Dangerous Goods and to the Ops management team.
• Responsibility for monitoring CiQ metrics for Freight forwarders and GHAs in a timely manner.
• To develop outputs relevant to key stakeholders and user-friendly formats for senior management, customers, suppliers and other external parties.

Build and maintain a comprehensive reporting catalogue that supports Talent Acquisition decision-making and operational excellence. Collaborate with TA stakeholders to gather and document reporting needs, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals. Design and develop dashboards that visualize key recruitment metrics and performance indicators in a meaningful, actionable way. Analyze recruitment data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide insights that influence strategic decisions. Continuously improve reporting processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing smarter, faster solutions. Evaluate existing reporting platforms and lead the transition to more effective tools in collaboration with cross-functional teams (IT, HRBI). Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation and quality control practices. Translate complex reporting requirements into feasible solutions within existing TA systems. Drive business transformation by leading data-driven change initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate testing and rollout of new reporting features. Integrate data from multiple sources to create unified, reliable reports that reflect the full recruitment picture. Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to make the most of reporting tools and insights. Coordinate and mentor team members within the TA Systems team to actively contribute to reporting initiatives, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistent delivery of high-quality analytics. Qualifications

Proven experience in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence Strong proficiency in Power BI and Tableau Ability to independently manage data analytics projects Advanced planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of HR functions Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to foster team collaboration Deep understanding of Talent Acquisition data and metrics Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, and CRM platforms (e.g., Taleo, ORC, Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, iCIMS) About Qatar Airways Group
