Immediate Overview We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer - Civil (Marine Works) to join a high-profile oil and gas marine construction project in Qatar. This role involves preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of marine civil works. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports. Monitor progress of marine civil works including quay walls, jetties, and pile foundations. Analyse critical paths, identify delays, and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare delay analysis and EOT claims in line with contract requirements. Coordinate with site execution, engineering, and procurement teams. Attend project review meetings with stakeholders. Ensure compliance with project planning and reporting procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 5-7 years' planning experience in marine civil construction projects. Proven track record in oil and gas marine infrastructure projects. Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of construction sequences, resource planning, and cost loading. Must be currently in Qatar with valid QID and NOC, available to join immediately. Preferred UPDA/MMUP certification. Experience in port infrastructure or marine terminals. Knowledge of contract administration and claims preparation.
