Role Summary
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle of the LNG Berth 2 Upgrade Project ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of marine civil works, including structural reinforcement, tie-back system installation, seabed excavation and marine coordination. Qualifications & Experience

Manage construction of mooring and berthing dolphin reinforcements, tie-back system and installation of parallel motion fenders.
Oversee bathymetric survey and seabed dredging works.
Serve as the primary interface with RLIC, QatarEnergy and Other regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with RLIC's permit and marine unit approval processes (e.g., SOEF vetting, spud barge approvals, vessel suitability).
Coordinate with shipping agents and subcontractors for marine logistics.
Lead multidisciplinary site and engineering teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
Monitor contractor and vendor performance including fabrication and installation of tie-back systems and fenders.

This role falls under the British Council Qatar, in partnership with the British Embassy, which is pleased to launch the "Al Ruwwad" initiative. The programme aims to provide mentorship opportunities for 25–50 promising mentees in Qatar.
The Al Ruwwad initiative is open to Qatari and non-Qatari university students, graduates, UK alumni members, and entrepreneurs in Qatar. It focuses on mentorship designed to enhance leadership and personal development skills.

Role purpose

Main accountabilities
Relationship & Stakeholder management
- Has relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders within country and is able to procure services and contract delivery partners.
- Holds suppliers to account for delivering against contract.

Commercial and Financial Management
- Ensure sound financial planning, working closely with finance teams to ensure British Council and client financial year plans are up to date.
