SHES Specialist – Onshore Pipelines
Location: Primarily Qatar Onshore (90%), occasional Offshore (10%)
Contract Duration: 36 months, from August 2025 to 2028
Work Schedule: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) Specialist to support the safe execution of onshore pipeline construction activities. You will ensure regulatory and project compliance, provide coaching and monitoring across contractors, and drive safety performance during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and guidance on SHES compliance throughout the onshore pipeline project lifecycle.

• Monitor and report contractor SHES performance against KPIs and support improvement initiatives.

• Conduct routine inspections, risk assessments, and audits using established tools and protocols.

• Participate in incident investigations and support root cause analysis and reporting.

• Champion behavioural safety programmes and support implementation of life-saving rules.

• Liaise closely with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support a collaborative safety culture.

• Coordinate the delivery of SHES training and on-the-job coaching for contractor personnel.

• Ensure compliance with national regulations, international standards, and project-specific SHES procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation including inspection records, permit-to-work reviews, and incident logs.

• Support continuous improvement through trend analysis, lessons learned, and recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, safety, or related field

• NEBOSH Diploma (International or National), NVQ Level 5 in SHES, or equivalent recognised diploma

Required Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of SHES experience in large-scale oil & gas or pipeline construction projects

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with SHES risk assessments, inspections, audits, and compliance reviews

• Familiarity with SHES systems and behavioural safety programmes

• Experience in a multicultural and multilingual project environment is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong written and verbal communication in English

• Confident with stakeholder engagement and contractor interfacing

Senior Contracts Engineer

Location:  Doha, Qatar

Contract Type: Long-term contract (until 2030)

Work Schedule:

• 5-day week, 8 hours/day at office base location OR
• 6-day week, 10 hours/day at construction site base location

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Engineer to support the delivery of complex offshore and onshore EPC projects in the oil and gas sector. This role covers multi-disciplinary contract management from tendering through to contract close-out, including extensive involvement with offshore platforms, subsea systems, and brownfield modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Contract Management or Project Management are desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years' multidisciplinary experience in contract execution.
• At least 6 years focused on offshore tendering/contracts for platforms, living quarters, compressor stations, subsea cables, umbilicals, and associated brownfield works.
• Proven track record managing complex tendering processes across Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPIC phases.
• Expertise in contracting strategy development, tender documentation, pre- and post-award contract management, negotiations, variations, and claims.
• Knowledge of contract law is preferred.
• Skilled in contract correspondence, report writing, and analytical problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert contract support to project sponsors and end users throughout tendering and contract lifecycle phases.
• Review and advise on scope of requirements, tendering strategy, prequalification, and evaluation criteria.
• Assist in selecting tendering approaches (open, classified, single source) and bidding processes (two-stage, two-bid).
• Identify contractual risks, gaps, anomalies, and pricing mechanisms ensuring comprehensive and consistent tender documentation.

Job Title: Senior Commissioning Coordinator

Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Commissioning Coordinator to oversee and coordinate commissioning, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities for a major oil and gas project. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires extensive experience in systems handover, start-up planning, and interface coordination between contractors, vendors, and operations teams.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all commissioning activities are planned, executed, documented, and handed over efficiently-upholding project integrity, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate contractor and vendor activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, testing, and final handover.
• Prepare procedures and lead pre-startup audits in advance of commissioning.
• Monitor contractor readiness and ensure commissioning spares, tools, and consumables are in place.
• Support maintenance and materials database completion in collaboration with Operations.
• Review and ensure compliance with project-specific execution plans, safety policies, and procedures.
• Assess and approve Mechanical Completion (MC), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and operational test procedures.
• Implement and enforce PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Job Safety Analysis, and risk assessments.

• Experience with large-scale EPC or brownfield/greenfield oil & gas commissioning.
• Strong background in construction management, technical reviews, and procedural compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in managing interface between construction, operations, and commissioning.
• Excellent understanding of completion systems and documentation requirements.

1. Lead the construction, and model history match to assess CO2 WAG EOR performance.
2. Help develop and deliver optimized mid / long term strategic and tactical plans for the Operated Onshore field Assets.
3. Perform the annual review of reserves, generate long-term production/injection forecasts for Asset Planning, Business Planning and drilling/workover schedule.
4. Plan and supervise the acquisition (and perform analysis/interpretation) of Reservoir Engineering data from new and replacement wells for updating dynamic reservoir simulation models and determining optimum development plans and drilling targets. Ensure all data and analysis is input into integrated reservoir/field development studies.
5. Maintain, develop and run 3D multiphase black oil / compositional dynamic reservoir models for mathematical simulation of reservoirs and field development planning.
6. Develop / contribute and integrate Reservoir Engineering inputs into the short term (drill/replacement well projects, workover projects & drilling/workover operations), medium term (reservoir voidage management) and long term (field development and asset value optimisation) activities.
7. Identify target reservoirs/reservoir layers and determine well-reservoir contacts for new/replacement vertical/deviated/horizontal drill projects into multi-layered heterogeneous reservoirs to optimize field development.
8. Prepare detailed, integrated development plans for undeveloped hydrocarbon resources.
9. Provide input to existing reservoir exploitation with regard to implementation of longer term reservoir management plans. Ensure surveillance programs are efficient and effective. Advising on reservoir management policies and well production limitations.
10. Lead reservoir performance surveillance review sessions with multi-discipline teams.
11. Coordinate and follow up the execution of reservoir-wide pressure transient analysis surveys.
12. QA/QC Reservoir Engineering data and maintain Reservoir Engineering databases including real time data links.
13. Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring of Qatari staff.
14. Share and leverage knowledge and skills across Operated Onshore Field subsurface teams.

• Experienced in infill drilling and workover planning with a strong understanding and experience of surveillance and performance optimization, gained in carbonate oil and gas reservoirs.
• Must have excellent teamwork and communication skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff and management. Must be able to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Must be familiar with reserves evaluation, classification and booking methodologies using PRMS.

• Skillful in managing reservoir studies project with a sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, manage and measure work.
