Location: Onshore – Ras Laffan / Doha HQ
Contract Type: Call-Off Order via new MFA
Work Schedule: 8–10 hours/day, Sunday–Thursday
Single Status: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Couple Status: 30 days annual leave

Job PurposeThe Senior PTW Instructor is responsible for developing and enhancing training programmes for the Permit to Work (PTW) system, Energy Isolation, and ePTW processes. The role ensures lessons learned are effectively captured and shared across operating facilities to maintain safe and compliant operations.
Job Context & Challenges-
Develop and update PTW training modules reflecting procedural and system changes.

Work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural, and multi-venture environment.

Ensure consistent PTW system application across all operating assets.

Develop and review PTW training materials, incorporating lessons learned.

Support PTW trainers to improve training quality and effectiveness.

Organise communication sessions to cascade procedural updates to end users.

Contribute to PTW system improvements and perform tasks assigned by line management.

Ensure ePTW system access is provided to trained and competent personnel.

Provide consultation and support to end users during routine operations and shutdowns.

Organise regular meetings with asset PTW coordinators, training, and competency teams.

Participate in PTW audits and support audit activities.

Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of ePTW and related tools, ensuring system availability for end users.
Qualifications:

HND in Engineering
Knowledge / Experience:
-
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Operations, Maintenance, or SHE within Oil & Gas, including at least 2 years as a PTW instructor.

Expert knowledge of SHE procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis, integrated safety systems, and international PTW standards and best practices.
Technical & Business Skills:

Computer literacy, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
