Operational:
- Provide day to day fleet support with regards to fleet data and fleet operations to QR group subsidiaries under the supervision of QAS Fleet Service Engineer to meet operational requirement.
- Coordinate with end users, stake holders and government agencies for on time issuance and renewal of Gate passes and Vehicle Registration.
- Coordinate and follow up with local dealers for timely service and repair of Leased and Rental units (in-house or outside).
- Responsible to transfer of vehicles and Ground Service Equipment (SE) within and outside the state of Qatar based on operational requirement.
- Oversee storage and retrieval of important documents (log book and other documents) and timely update of fleet trackers and other important files in share folder.
- Liaise with local authorities for efficient processing and collection of equipment's from sea and airports.
- Coordinate with QAS planning department to update total fleet quantity and to initiate AMS activities upon receiving of new vehicle/ equipment's.
- Liaise with outside service providers for all third-party fleet services such as hiring crane or other specialized equipment required for transporting or offloading equipment/ vehicles
- Manage and monitor payment to government agencies through company credit card, and providing a monthly expense to Finance department.
- Following up with local airport authorities and MOI for any issues related with movement of people/ GSEs into and out of HIA and DIA.
- Preparing and translating government document in Arabic and seeking necessary internal and external authority approvals
- Perform receiving inspection of new equipment and cross check the items/ parts received with packing lists for any discrepancy.
- Support Fleet Service Engineer in regards to technical documents preparation during the Pretender process for the GSE Procurement.
- Assist Fleet Service Engineer in GSE related projects/campaign such as GSE Modification, and refurbishment in coordination with workshop officers to maintain the overall condition of GSEs.
- Assist FSE in conducting SE trials on OM proposed equipment in coordination with workshop and OEM and provided detailed report to LM at the end of trial period
- Coordinate the recovery and roadside breakdown assistance for equipment grounded outside of HIA on public roads.
- Ensure all Fleet tasks are updated and completed in ERP software and same shall be billed to end users

- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

- Preparing technical presentations for Baker Hughes leaders and customers to communicate significant issues or developments.
- Traveling to customer locations to support technical review meetings, support outages, and assist commercial teams with technical support for sales and proposals.
- Providing engineering oversight during planned outages to meet reliability and availability goals.
- Partnering with Design Engineering and external/internal suppliers to facilitate logistical implementation of fleet program solutions.

- Possess strong knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbines and auxiliaries.
- Be willing to travel 20-25% on short notice.
- Be available to work during weekends for emergency support.

Job Description
The FSE function is to prevent the next event by supporting operational issues as they arise and managing the Technical Program plan for each engine model they support, including updating customer progress on CI’s, AD’s and SB incorporation. In this role you will need to build a trusting, influential relationship with your customer at all levels of management.
While this role is based in Doha, Qatar, you will be required to travel to other airlines in the region, including Baghdad, Iraq to support our airline customers as required.
**Essential Responsibilities**
In addition, you will:
- Serve as the primary GE on-site Technical representative before, during, and after the Aircraft enters service
- Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines
- Perform duties as the FSE for all assigned GE product lines and assist the customer with technical understanding of the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of multiple types of GE products
- Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs
- Assist customer with improving reliability and reducing cost of ownership
- Provide single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other GE stakeholders
- Assist with data collection and timely reporting to facilitate fleet performance analysis, including marketing intelligence and sales opportunities for services, and support
- Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and RSPL provisioning by training them on our customer portal features
- Provide recommendations on proactive maintenance based on engine data trend shifts.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with preference in Aerospace)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Aerospace engineering or Airline operational support
- Ability and willingness to travel for weeks at a time to various locations, as required
