Job Description
Support the Fleets and Fleet Training Management as assigned, including but is not limited to handling of confidential and sensitive issues requiring a high degree of discretion and follow ups while performing variety of administrative functions related to these offices in order to ensure smooth functioning.
**Operational**
- Act as a point of contact between Management and various departments which will require the role to maintain, raise and close issues pertaining to the Fleet, Training and Technical Pilot management offices.
- Maintaining, organizing and monitoring the Pilot Management calendars.
- Verifying (Qatar Civil Aviation Authority) QCAA Pel Forms and uploading forms on EDOCS.
- Organise and execute proper working procedures to ensure smooth day to day operations e.g attending to walk-in pilots.
- Raising ITSRs /purchase requisitions for the assigned fleet and training offices.
- Coordinate with HR for upgraded Deck Crew (Staff Movement Approval (SMA), ID card, Uniform etc.)
- Coordinate with HR Immigration for receipts and letters for US visa processing.
- Prepares relevant documentation requiring approvals for reimbursement to deck crew e.g monthly expense report with receipts on placement of suitcases, PCR/Antigen tests taken, Taxi receipts during deck crew duty travel.
- Secretarial contact between the Management and various departments by organise and execute proper working procedures to ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Process the monthly schedule Instructor Appraisals meetings and interviews files processing.
- Preparation of Crew Member Certificate for Qatar Airways, Qatar Executive & Amiri Pilots, Engineers (New issuance, renewals or for lost cards)
- Arranging appointments for Aviation medicals for Fleet/Training Managers
- Process and verifying the crew details in the bond document prior issuance. Preparing Bond Memo for the active pilots and sending the signed bond to HR.
- Maintaining various check lists to ensure no disruption to work e.g access and work station for new manager or exiting manager.
- Management Asset list assigned to Fleet/Training Managers.
- Arrangement of office for new management in conjunction with Flight Operations Management
- Maintain Fleet files, requests and oversee all flight crew records e.g Airport pass requests, deck crew business cards and deck crew disciplinary letters logs.
- Prepare and send documentation of approved Ex-staff requests for their training documents.
- Prepare deck crew Flying hours certificates.
- Prepare and update Deck crew summaries and timeline with Accuracy.
- Duty Travel and Expense report - Coordinate all aspects of duty travel for Managers:
- Arrange duty travel, hotel, transport arrangement for deck crew training
- Arrange duty travel ticket
- Arrange visa and Hotel accommodation
- Advance payment for Managers
- Arrange for roster update through Crew Control
- Processes Deck crew New joiners requests:
- Coordinate with joining team with regards to date of joining of pilots
- Coordinate with Flight Operations Library for manuals, posters and documentations.
- Preparing briefing files for the new joiners
- Assisting in arranging Aviation Medical according to availability of medical doctors from approved clinics
- Arrangement of meetings and related documentation:
- Arrange meetings and record minutes of the meetings
- Follow up through and ensure closure of items in the meetings
- Seek / follow up approvals from the outcome of Meetings / Interviews / Review Board minutes and maintain proper documentation of the minutes
- Personal and Training files to be arranged as a record for review board meetings
- Monitor the training progress of new joiners (ground training, simulator training & line training) and keep management informed of the training status of pilots at any point in time.
- Organize instructor meetings; and ensure that training documents are kept in order for inspection of relevant regulatory authorities.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

The FSE function is to prevent the next event by supporting operational issues as they arise and managing the Technical Program plan for each engine model they support, including updating customer progress on CI’s, AD’s and SB incorporation. In this role you will need to build a trusting, influential relationship with your customer at all levels of management.
While this role is based in Doha, Qatar, you will be required to travel to other airlines in the region, including Baghdad, Iraq to support our airline customers as required.
**Essential Responsibilities**
In addition, you will:
- Serve as the primary GE on-site Technical representative before, during, and after the Aircraft enters service
- Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines
- Perform duties as the FSE for all assigned GE product lines and assist the customer with technical understanding of the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of multiple types of GE products
- Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs
- Assist customer with improving reliability and reducing cost of ownership
- Provide single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other GE stakeholders
- Assist with data collection and timely reporting to facilitate fleet performance analysis, including marketing intelligence and sales opportunities for services, and support
- Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and RSPL provisioning by training them on our customer portal features
- Provide recommendations on proactive maintenance based on engine data trend shifts.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with preference in Aerospace)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Aerospace engineering or Airline operational support
- Ability and willingness to travel for weeks at a time to various locations, as required
