Role OverviewThe Technical Instructor/Assessor is responsible for delivering technical training to students at the BAE Systems Technical Institute in Doha, Qatar. The role involves delivering a range of modules within the Aerospace Mechanical Specialty trade boundary, assessing learner performance, and contributing to learner qualification attainment.
Core Responsibilities- Deliver aerospace mechanical specialty technical training in classrooms and workshops.
- Utilize various training media and devices proficiently.
- Assess learners through practical and knowledge-based testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the institute.
- Ensure training delivery meets quality standards and plan.
- Maintain effective links with QEAF Cadet Welfare teams.
- Deliver customer-focused training to ensure satisfaction.
- Meet all SHE, statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & Learning (including 90 hours of teaching practice).
- Minimum of 5 years training delivery experience outside of the TI, or 2 years within, in areas such as apprentice training, military trade training, type training, FE College (Engineering or Science), or TAQA qualification.
- Experience in training design following BSAT/DSAT models.
- Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
