Job Description

The role is responsible fordischarging Project Management activities across the Qatar In-Service Typhoon AvailabilityService Operation at Dukhan Airbase, Qatar, as CAM133. This role will undertakeProject Management activities within the respective technical delivery areas toensure key PM tenets are discharged and upheld.

Theincumbent will be required to gather, synthesize & integrate informationrelating to performance (cost, resources and outputs), generate, monitor andreport progress against plans, identify trends, analyze and interpret data andinformation to ensure all data and information is accurate, generate andpublish regular reports, including internal contract review packs and externalcustomer facing material

Thisrole will be geographically deployed out into the respective delivery area,providing a Project Management service into the allocated area. Hierarchically,this role will report into the Project Management Lead, who will providesupport, leadership and the PM governance framework the incumbent will berequired to operate within.

The role will also be required to support and conduct any ad-hoc PM activities required due to the nature ofOperations at Dukhan Airbase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deployed Project Management support to DukhanDelivery areas
  • Run a subset of the Dukhan Business Rhythm withineach delivery area, ensuring Risk, Opportunity, Change (Organisational orTechnical) and Spend are reviewed within each team
  • Co-ordinate, facilitate and compile agreed OPR inputson behalf of each delivery area
  • Act as the deployed Project Management conscience ofthe Dukhan Operation, ensuring delivery areas remain within governance,escalating issues as required.
  • Operate as ‘critical friends’ of the deployed areas,providing a valued Project Management service whilst driving and upholding PMvalues and standards
  • Support compilation of PM&C artefacts into thedrumbeat Dukhan SMT Business Rhythm reviews (for example, Change Requests)
  • Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives into theCI lead,seeking to maximiseoperational efficiency and minimising costs;
  • Responsible for managing the financial informationfor the allocated area, to feed the Contract Status Reports (CSR);
  • Responsible for managing the Risk and Opportunities(financial, quality, scope and quality) within the allocated area
  • Develop, manage and maintain integrated programschedules for non-recurring elements of work
  • Manage and measure delivery against the contract,advising on contractual compliance / shortfalls for both BAES and the QEAF(BFP/R)
  • Co-ordinate, control and report against internal andcontractual KPI’s
  • Act as an interface with junior officers within theQEAF for the allocated area for all applicable Project Delivery requirements
  • Responsible for managing the resource manpower withinthe allocated area from a PM standpoint (e.g. cost, resource planning,capacity modelling)
  • Support reviews (preparation or attendance) includingbut not limited to OPR, QCRs, QBRs, risk & opportunity, Change ControlBoards, Business Operations and customer PRMs;
  • Provide support to the Business Management Lead for control of the Resource management aspectsof the Typhoon Availability Service
Additional R esponsibilities/ Activities:
  • Ensure compliance with the mandated BAE Systems Governance Framework, including,but not limited to; Life Cycle Management (LCM), Business ContinuityManagement (BCM) – Incident Management (IM),Gifts & Hospitality (G&H), Responsible Document Record Management (RDRM), ExportControl, SHE, et al.
  • This role will also be required to support and conduct any ad-hoc PM activities required due to the nature of Operationsat Dukhan Airbase.
Requirements

Qualifications/Functional Knowledge:

Functional Knowledge &Experience:

  • Experienced and in-depth Project Control knowledge and techniques inan Operational Aircraft Support environment is preferred;
  • Experienced resource demand management and forecasting;
  • High level of MS Office knowledge and application;
  • Understanding and appreciation of operating in a customer-focusedorganisation in the Middle East;
  • Commercial and Contractual Awareness;
  • Purchasing Process and Export control awareness;
  • Contract Status Reporting (CSRs).

Business Expertise:

  • Requires good analytical skills, able to manipulate data to identifytrends and data shortages. At this level is able to assess if data iscomplete, accurate and turn into management information for onwards reporting

The Document Cell Senior

Lead reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is the point of contact for

technical documentation/ information.

To provide leadership and oversight for the development and delivery of

all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities, whilst maximising operational

efficiency and minimizing costs.

Through the effective

utilisation of subject matter knowledge and experience, able to lead and manage

a team / number of teams of skilled and knowledgeable personnel, to deliver fit

for purpose of Continuing Airworthiness Records.

Core Activity

  • Managing the development, production and publication of the performance indicators required to demonstrate the configuration, quality and integrity of the aircraft and component Continuing Airworthiness Records
  • Managing the development and update of all Continuing Airworthiness Records, including the input of aircraft technical log data (hours, cycles, etc.) into the relevant record and maintenance system(
  • Managing the delivery of the necessary reconciliation activities required to ensure the configuration, quality and integrity of the Continuing Airworthiness Records is maintained
  • At a tactical level, managing the provision of information from the Continuing Airworthiness Records and the interface with Maintenance Tasking & Verification, Part 145 organisation, Fleet Planning, Reliability Programmes and other key stakeholders, in order to deliver the required standards of Continuing Airworthiness and contract delivery
  • Managing and report on the effectiveness of Continuing Airworthiness Records completion and management processes, including feedback to Part 145 organisation and Suppliers, across all responsible maintenance locations. Ensure escalated issues, including any identified by the Airworthiness Review process, are assessed and effective solutions implemented into the Continuing Airworthiness Records activities
  • Managing the delivery of advice and assistance on modification/configuration status-related questions.
  • Maintaining a personal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On the Job training (OJT) activities, sign other personnel’s logbooks as appropriate within your trade and skills boundaries. If you are an approved designated assessor, undertake authorization and task competency approvals, and check Pt 145 license application packs prior to submission

Key Accountabilities

  • Performance indicators – Ensure the effective management of Continuing Airworthiness Records activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across team to maximise efficiency. Represents the Document Cell Senior Supervisor at management reviews, where necessary. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate
  • Completion of activities – Ensure all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT/paper based). Ensure all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. Ensure the integration of Continuing Airworthiness Records activity within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process. Provide support and guidance to the team
  • Procedure/standards – Manage the Continuing Airworthiness Records team compliance with the CAME, its associated procedures and standards, and any other Company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify, propose and implement change as required, whilst ensuring compliance
  • Safety Management System – Promote the application of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management and Safety Assurance within the Continuing Airworthiness Records team(s), together with the proactive analysis, mitigation and management of Hazards
  • Management System Assurance – Ensure Continuing Airworthiness Records team activities are compliant with the Regulatory Governance and Assurance framework. Ensure Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits are supported by Continuing Airworthiness Records personnel and integrated within/across teams. Manage the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews. Generate and implement effective improvements within/across teams to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness
  • Statutory/Regulatory & Legislative requirements – Able to demonstrate a detailed understanding and application of the continuing airworthiness regulatory framework, e.g. EASA and ensure any changes are implemented; Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR/EaPW
  • Contractual Requirements – Ensure compliance with all applicable contractual requirements; Support contract reviews and ensure communication of any changes into airworthiness records activities

Requirements

Qualifications/Functional Knowledge:

  • Requires general product knowledge/competency within own technical/subject area Minimum HNC in a relevant Data Management or Technical discipline, or Part 66 Category C qualified, or suitable equivalent
  • Recent experience within a Maintenance & Support environment, including significant direct experience of managing and maintaining Continuing Airworthiness Records. Or Recent proven experience as a Team Leader in a related discipline, such as Maintenance Tasking & Verification, Reliability Programme management or Maintenance Programme development
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and project management skills/experience, with Lean management principles
  • Able to demonstrate good team leadership knowledge and skills
  • Effective, highly credible communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Requires broad product knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the relationship with interfacing / contributory areas
  • Able to analyse and interpret data
  • Comprehensive understanding of current IT software packages used within the Continuing Airworthiness Records discipline

Primary Purpose of the Job

Lead and undertake Reservoir Engineering studies of the QatarEnergy operated Dukhan oilfield to optimize field development plans, support simulation model maintenance, analyze reservoir and well performance data, develop reservoir surveillance programs and conduct reservoir management activities, including supporting planning and activity on CO2 WAG pilot. Prepare detailed/integrated development plans for underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources and participate in interdisciplinary reservoir study teams.

Principal Accountabilities
  1. Lead the construction, and model history match to assess CO2 WAG EOR performance.
  2. Help develop and deliver optimized mid / long term strategic and tactical plans for the Operated Onshore field Assets.
  3. Perform the annual review of reserves, generate long-term production/injection forecasts for Asset Planning, Business Planning and drilling/workover schedule.
  4. Plan and supervise the acquisition (and perform analysis/interpretation) of Reservoir Engineering data from new and replacement wells for updating dynamic reservoir simulation models and determining optimum development plans and drilling targets. Ensure all data and analysis is input into integrated reservoir/field development studies.
  5. Maintain, develop and run 3D multiphase black oil / compositional dynamic reservoir models for mathematical simulation of reservoirs and field development planning.
  6. Develop / contribute and integrate Reservoir Engineering inputs into the short term (drill/replacement well projects, workover projects & drilling/workover operations), medium term (reservoir voidage management) and long term (field development and asset value optimisation) activities.
  7. Identify target reservoirs/reservoir layers and determine well-reservoir contacts for new/replacement vertical/deviated/horizontal drill projects into multi-layered heterogeneous reservoirs to optimize field development.
  8. Prepare detailed, integrated development plans for undeveloped hydrocarbon resources.
  9. Provide input to existing reservoir exploitation with regard to implementation of longer term reservoir management plans. Ensure surveillance programs are efficient and effective. Advising on reservoir management policies and well production limitations.
  10. Lead reservoir performance surveillance review sessions with multi-discipline teams.
  11. Coordinate and follow up the execution of reservoir-wide pressure transient analysis surveys.
  12. QA/QC Reservoir Engineering data and maintain Reservoir Engineering databases including real time data links.
  13. Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring of Qatari staff.
  14. Share and leverage knowledge and skills across Operated Onshore Field subsurface teams.

Required Experience and Skills
  1. Prefer work experience of at least 15 years as a Reservoir Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry with demonstrated Reservoir studies/performance optimization expertise in mature large oil and gas fields.
  2. Experience working on mature oil fields under waterflood.
  3. Experience in development plan maturation for undeveloped hydrocarbon resources.
  4. Experience in transient well test interpretation, material balance modelling and performance prediction.
  5. Experience in numerical reservoir simulation (black oil and compositional), history matching and field development plans.
  6. Experienced in EOR techniques and modelling, ideally on operating assets, in particular CO2 WAG development.
  7. Experienced in infill drilling and workover planning with a strong understanding and experience of surveillance and performance optimization, gained in carbonate oil and gas reservoirs.
  8. Must have excellent teamwork and communication skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
  9. Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff and management. Must be able to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
  10. Must be familiar with reserves evaluation, classification and booking methodologies using PRMS.
  11. Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
  12. Skillful in managing reservoir studies project with a sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, manage and measure work.

    Awareness of how the team integrates with others in order to achieve the

Job Description

The Weapons Senior Supervisor is responsible to the rectification controller and should be an experienced and skilled armament technician undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities on the Typhoon aircraft or aircraft components.

They will be responsible for maintaining airworthiness through appropriate task delegation and authorisation on an aircraft or aircraft component. Responsible for meeting agreed delivery targets at a tactical level. Demonstrates people management and leadership skills. Demonstrates awareness of broader external dependencies and identifies areas for continuous improvement.

They should be able to demonstrate a distinct ability to analyse and diagnose faults to the Typhoon, equipment and assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team, providing guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment.

Core Activities
  1. Undertake and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on the Typhoon or weapons systems/components which may include, as appropriate, aircraft ground handling, flight servicing, aircraft role changes, embodiments, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system tests.

Job Description

The Armaments, Avionics & Survival Equipment Workshop Controller is responsible for ensuring that all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards. Reporting to the Deputy Depth Maintenance Manager for the organisation, administration, control and efficiency of the Part 145 Bay Operations.

The post holder will have a high-level understanding of Armament & Avionic trades and will be required to think and plan tactically to respond to the constantly changing environment in terms of the customer and product changes/customization.

The post holder will have a high level of interaction with the QAF support staff and will be responsible for planning maintenance events through the effective scheduling and optimisation of the Part 145 maintenance facilities capability and capacity. Ensuring agreed work packages and maintenance events are scheduled, resourced, executed and managed to plan and cost, with a clear understanding of the customers’ requirements and agreed time scales.

Core Activities
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of Armament & Avionic Workshop controller methodologies.
  • Initial set up of aircraft bays.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards.
  • Reporting to the Deputy Depth Maintenance Manager for the organisation, administration, control and efficiency of the Part 145 Bay Operations.
  • Requires the ability to think and plan tactically to respond to the constantly changing environment in terms of Customer and product changes/customisation, therefore, it also demands the capability to organise resource balancing/training to meet changing standards.
  • Requires interaction with the customer and Qatari Air Force (QAF) support staffs.
  • Provide Information, Statistics and Data as required for input to the Operational Performance Review.
  • Undertaking direct management responsibility and Performance and Development.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT/paper based). Compile required reporting, identify any issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Responsible for Production Control of the work pack in a Production Planning toolset, constructing the work flow in a logical sequence to ensure the most effective delivery of the planned work. Ensuring an understanding of the Critical path and the influencing factors that affect schedule adherence.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with Part M Fleet Planning.
  • Maintaining a personal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On the Job training (OJT) activities, sign other personnel’s logbooks as appropriate within your trade and skills boundaries. If you are an approved designated assessor, undertake authorisation and task competency approvals, and check Pt 145 license application packs prior to submission.
Key Accountabilities
  • Performance indicators – Ensure the effective management of Regulatory activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across teams to maximise efficiency. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate.
  • Procedure/standards – Comply with the Regulatory Framework, its associated procedures and standards and any other Company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify and propose changes, as required.
  • Management System Assurance – Ensure maintenance activities are compliant with the Governance and Assurance framework, including supporting Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits. Support the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information to support the relevant reviews. Support the implementation of identified improvements to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness.
  • Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) – Management and application of the CAA system within Airworthiness Records, including supporting audits, responding to findings in a timely manner and providing relevant information into the appropriate reviews.
  • Statutory/Regulatory & Legislative requirements – Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory Framework. Support the implementation of any Regulatory driven changes into the Maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR, EaPW, ISO, etc.
  • Contractual Requirements – Comply with all applicable contractual requirements.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship (for example a City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 or equivalent), ideally in Aeronautical Engineering and/or a recognised Engineering Degree from either aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft.
  • Fully experienced and competent in hands-on Customer Support by providing a complete service to the customer.
  • 2 years practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • Minimum 6 months experience on type (in the last two years).
  • A good understanding of relevant Acceptable Means of Compliance documentation set.
  • Formal Production Planning and Control training.
  • Strong people management and motivational skills.
  • Operational and business management, especially within the aircraft maintenance environment.
