The role + purpose

You are responsible as the lead for concepting, managing and supporting the development of influencer marketing campaigns and proposals on behalf of one of our key tourism clients. In this role you will be responsible for creative execution, activation of campaigns, on ground support, logistics and bookings as well as media and measurement. For this client we will facilitate on average 20 influencers a month, with increases around key events. The nature of the role means some out of hours work will be required to support at events or to respond to influencer comms. Your role is critical in the seamless day-to-day client servicing at McCann Content Studios and involves managing junior team members as well as being supportive to the Global MCS team.

You are a self-starter who demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative to own and lead the day-to-day approach and logistics of defining strategies – from theory through to creative ideation, casting, analysing and reporting on robust data and insights and managing the talent/talent team and client relationship through to campaign completion. You understand that our role as the influencer marketing agency for our tourism client is to seamlessly activate campaigns, deploying creators and influencers to inspire.

Key duties and responsibilities

  1. Work with relevant team to execute and enhance a best-in-class influencer marketing service offering, including insight/analytics, innovation, social trend, tools, platforms and campaign measurement.
  2. Utilise creative thinking to best deliver creator activations for our tourism client.
  3. Drive best practices around campaign delivery using influencer marketing tools alongside championing the implementation of new tools and processes as required.
  4. Perform competitive analysis, industry research, assessment of best practices and KPIs in a consistently changing landscape.
  5. Lead negotiations on behalf of the client to procure the appropriate influencers and preferable ROI for campaigns and clients.
  6. Act as key liaison during negotiations, contract execution and live campaigns.
  7. Inherent contractual understanding – ability to draft, negotiate and execute robust influencer agreements, ensuring templates are up to date with the ever-evolving nature of the industry.
  8. Use an existing network of contacts / relationships and industry knowledge to build and fast-track opportunities.
  9. Keep abreast of current projects in development; collaborate with wider team to brainstorm and create opportunities for clients.
  10. Best-in-class activation and project management skills. You will regularly be required to meet with or host talent, this can take place outside of regular working hours (when special events are on weekend or evening work may be required).
  11. Maintain a complete grasp of client’s business, needs and objectives – what they do and what they want to achieve, taking ownership and accountability for work and projects.
  12. Lead by example, providing adequate support and mentorship to junior members of the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, including managing upwards to the senior team as required.
  13. Oversee the formal client review process and take responsibility for the internal “Wash Up” process on completion of each project.
  14. Effective account planning, ensuring resources are aligned to meet client demands at all times.
  15. Take accountability for accurate project budgets, in conjunction with senior management when required.
  16. Work with finance to oversee and implement timely generation of required invoices and the overseeing of influencer payments.
  17. In all areas, demonstrate high levels of commerciality and apply a keen understanding of the broader marketing environment.

**Flight itinerary**

We’re looking to onboard a Senior Account Director to join the FLYR crew - someone that is obsessed with making our customers successful. This person will be dedicated to the Middle East region, with opportunities to support multiple accounts in the region. This person has a rich track record of strategic account management experience and airline industry expertise. This role is responsible for growth, relationship management, and customer success in FLYR’s strategic partnership with key customers.

In this crucial role, the Senior Account Director will be the face of FLYR for one of our most important and strategic customers. This role partners closely with both customer leadership and internal teams to ensure FLYR’s major strategic initiatives are successful with this customer.

**What your journey will look like**:

- Provide dedicated account management and site leadership with key strategic airline customer(s). Directly engage with our airline customers’ business and IT executives to ensure a successful partnership.
- Develop comprehensive customer understanding through account mapping of current systems, risks and opportunities. Ensure FLYR has a full understanding of the customers’ organization, functions, and systems.
- Be the face of FLYR to our customers and the voice of the customer within FLYR.
- Ensure customer ecosystem change is captured into FLYR project planning. Ensure customer stakeholders have awareness of new product capabilities and that end-users have access to FLYR’s product education offerings.
- Support account renewal and new growth efforts with support from FLYR’s Growth team.

- Lead regular strategic business reviews with customers, orchestrating agenda and outcomes among the FLYR functional participants.

- Past career experience in software services or new technology implementation consulting role highly preferred.
- Strong executive presence; known for building relationships at multiple levels of organization, including with key influencers.
- Experience in problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.

You Will :

Own and grow a set of named accounts and generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

Drive the full sales process from prospecting through to closing, while providing monthly forecasts with high accuracy.

Develop and execute account strategies to expand Base Chemical Insights' presence in the region.

Collaborate with sales and product teams to position solutions effectively and deliver value-based messaging.

Travel approximately 35% of the time across the Middle East, Africa, and Indian Subcontinent.

You Have :

Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 8 years selling complex enterprise solutions in the Middle East, Africa, or Indian Subcontinent.

Proven success closing large and complex deals in the base chemicals or related industries.

Strong consultative and value-selling skills, with a track record of uncovering client needs and aligning them to tailored solutions.

Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Business conversational fluency in English (verbal and written).

An undergraduate degree in science or a related technical field is a plus.
