- Oversee the implementation of the company’s scheduled stock counts, in conjunction with stock control, to provide accurate records for the company and minimise stock issues. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
- Manage and ensure that sufficient control measures are in place to secure both stock and cash at the shops, stores and warehouse.
- Analyse sales figures and forecasting futures sales volumes to maximise profits, analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning and present recommendations to management.
Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning; update management about business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues.
- Tour sales floor regularly, talk to Category Managers and customers, and identify and resolve urgent issues.
