- Monitor and determine demand periods for function space, rooms, and catering through an analysis of historical data and current bookings. Responsible for tracking and analyzing of booking pace, group wash, cut off enforcement for groups as well as denied and regretted business.
- Manage use of revenue systems daily. This includes the responsibility for any manipulation of the yield hurdle points and daily inventory balancing where appropriate.
- Train and support hotel teams on revenue system functionality and enhancements.
- Manage all channels (CRO, GDS, VOS) including but not limited to room types and sell strategy. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Best Price Guarantee and managing third party distributors in compliance with Rosewood standards and rules.
- Guardian of Revenue Systems. Ensure compliance with all System rules and standard processes for IDeaS, Synxis CR, Opera PMS etc. Provide input to the annual budget process on all revenue aspects of the business.
- Provides medium-term revenue-based forecasts of required staffing levels to all departments.
- Provides technical support to Reservations and Front Office on up selling and negotiating techniques.
- Support Director of Revenue Management in championing all special projects relating to systems, process development, team training and development and other revenue projects.
- Works with Director of Finance Business Partner in the preparation and management of the Department's budget.

We are looking to recruit the role of Revenue Management Operations Specialist in our head office based in Qatar Doha.
You will maintain and align the Standard Operating Procedures and Reservation & Inventory System Parameters to ensure the team executes operational tasks efficiently, giving utmost priority to Executive Management requirements for VIP/CIP passengers.
Coordinate with partner airlines to synchronize the schedules and bookings for seamless interline/codeshare reservations and ticketing functionalities. Identify Regulatory requirements and coordinate with respective departments (internal/external) to ensure compliance.
Operational Accountabilities
- Analyse current practices of manual and automated reservation and ticketing processes of accountable traffic documents like E-ticket and EMDs, to match industry standard best practices, which will ensure accurate processing for Revenue Accounting, and thereby avoid/mitigate any impact on revenue.
- Plan and ensure adequate resources are assigned for testing with internal / external teams to meet deadlines as per target dates.
- Provide regular update/feedback to Training Department and Commercial Policy and Procedures team on new formats/processes related to Reservation and Ticketing, to ensure they are further cascaded to end users for appropriate implementation and process standardization.
- Identify new products and/or system features made available by the system vendor and evaluate if it will be beneficial to support Qatar Airways business requirements from an efficiency perspective or revenue impact. Regularly coordinate with Alliance and Partnerships team to ensure the Altea Inventory Business rules are always updated for appropriate calibration with existing partner airlines or when a new partnership is being established.
- Regularly update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the team members are always following the latest guidelines to execute the daily tasks.
- Update/Edit Altea Business Rules as and when compliance requirements (new or change) are received from stations e.g. AVI acceptance at airports.

- Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, data engineering, operations research, forecasting and optimization methods.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling; well-versed in AI and ML methodologies.
- Experience handling large datasets, using data mining tools, and developing algorithms is preferred.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.
- Good understanding of airline business processes, including network planning, scheduling, marketing, sales, and digital (customer behavior).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
